Zero lights, easy set up, simple interface
Upon receiving the (renewed) device, I popped open the box. Inside was the unit, two antennae, power adapter, CAT5e cable, and instructions.Having set up many wifi access points in the past, I disregarded the instructions and simply went at it. I connected the Ethernet cables appropriately, then connected the power. To my surprise there were zero lights. At first, I questioned whether or not the unit was receiving power, but then I saw the lights on the Ethernet ports lighting up. Talk about sleek. Wanting to ensure a fresh start, I used a stiff zip-tie to hold down the red reset button for 10-seconds and after a reboot, began the set up. Set up was very straight forward and easy. I tried the setup wizard first and it was very simple stupid. The instructions were simplistic and straight-forward leaving very little room for misunderstanding or question. The wizard even prompts the user to establish a new admin password. Nice touch!I then used the manual setup. Lots of features, yet still easy to float through.Once the device was setup, the widgets in the admin panel began to populate. They were easy to read and navigate through as well as edit as necessary. The router works great and is great for someone who's not tech savvy. Range is OK for the price. Not mind-blowing, but not bad.The device can be mounted on a wall or set on a table or flat surface. There is 2.4G as well as 5G with the option to disable each individually. There is also a guest wifi network as well. There is also an app, but I did not utilize it. The admin panel is more than enough especially with a strong password. As a side note, this does NOT support wireless bridge capabilities out of the box.

Way better than expected. This isn't your 2000s Linksys
I've had lots of Linksys products in the past. You know, the old black and purple one that everyone had? This one is not that. This is way simpler and way more powerful. I hooked this to a bridge in my barn and it extends my wifi over the whole barn yard.

So far so good
Had a Netgear router that went bully up at 13 months with a 12 month warranty. Called service and they wanted me to pay more than this router so bought this. So far so good we'll see a year from now....

Amazing for the price!!
I just needed a wifi router because I didn't want to pay an extra $5 a month to rent the one from spectrum/charter. This was SO EASY TO SET UP!! It works wonderfully and I didn't need to pay a crazy amount of money for something that really doesn't matter. I will say that I live in a 1 bedroom condo, but I do have two smart tvs and several google devices set up with it and haven't had any problems. Highly recommend.

Signal drop within a week. Unreliable.
Set up was fair provided you are familiar with the brand. Uses cell app but better with desktop. Weak signal within 20 feet.Never held up the transmission speed, 50% max, then dropped altogether within 7 days. Signal would return after hard reboot but only for a few hours at the most.Promptly returned. Not a good job of "refurbishment" by whomever said they "checked" it.

Works great all over my 1700 sq ft home
So simple to set up and replaced my cable company's router that I had been paying $5 a month for. Even though the router as part of the internet and phone and cable which was in the same box, they turned off the router part and will save me a chunk of cash in years to come. Now just need to try to learn how to cut the cord on the cable next :)

Really reliable and affordable
Got this for $20 without even realizing it was renewed. I went through two routers before this, both of which gave me constant issues (one was a brand new Belkin). This worked flawlessly and was always functional. Sure, it looked like it had a small scuff on the plastic but who cares...it's a router. I don't care how shiny it is.

Great router for the price.
This works great for my small, 3 bedroom house. It sits in the garage, and every room has a decent signal. For the price, this router is great. I only have a 25 Mbps connection, so I can't speak to how well it handles higher bandwidth, but I've been pretty pleased with this inexpensive router. A+
