As can be seen in the photo I start a little above the door handle and go downward. This is thicker, more heavy duty, than the normal US product I use, but it is so far of a higher quality and a better door edge protector. It goes on very easy and can be (slightly) repositioned very easily AT FIRST! After an hour or so you just need to rip off, clean the area and reapply the product. It will adhere that well.It is hardly noticeable outdoors on a sunny day (or any other time) so far. No yellowing or discoloration.

I bought this to put on my door casing to protect is from my dog scratching on it when she tried to leave the room.This actually worked great, and molded well to my slightly curved casing. I had another product specifically meant for pet scratching before which was scratched and peeled off, and this worked much better. I have now bought some in a 4" width to protect a wider area that also failed with another tape product.

Really thick, plasticky, shiny, and not sticky. Overall, it does the job for my Rivian R1S door sills.

Bought a new car and it has a low step in. I tend to hit the door sill with my shoes when getting out. Using this paint protective film is easy to use and apply. Very durable so far. Being clear it goes with any color car.

I tried to apply this tape under my door sills on a jeep rubicon - This tape is terrible as would not apply evenly and left wrinkles no matter what we used to try to smoothen it out.
