This is a very good product for any kids that love building. The plastic pieces are durable, yet easy to work with. Instructions are clear and easy to follow. I was looking for an alternative to Lego and this was great. After building the car, my son took it apart and built different original cats on his own. It was an engaging, fun, and creative activity!

I'll start by saying I'm quite happy with this purchase. I bought two Kididdo brand sets to build with my daughter to pass some time. We are yet not finished building the first set, but she has enjoyed working on it so far and I've been very impressed with the value.I can easily say this set is, in almost every possibly way, 90% of the quality of the popular brand. The big upside is that it costs about 50% of the other brand. I call this a big win.*The reference for my comparisons is the popular brand. The popular brand would get 100% across the board.Parts quality: 90% - We've had to clean flash off of a number of parts. This usually only required a scrape with a fingernail. We did need a hobby knife for one part. A few parts exhibited "short shots" where the part was not fully formed with plastic. Aside from the few issues, fit and finish is very nice.Instructions: 90% - Many steps are condensed onto fewer pages. The flow is good, but not great. We've found minor errors, but nothing we couldn't easily work through. The quality of the instruction booklet is excellent as they are full color and utilized heavy paper.Design: 80% - The overall design of the set could be better. The suspension does not articulate in the proper axis for an "off-road" vehicle's suspension. The springs are far too stiff (like the 731c04) and do not cycle smoothly causing the entire truck to deflect substantially. My opinion would be that the kit seems to focus more on looks and not mechanical function. Having the pull-back motor is a nice touch and that appears to be the primary mechanical function of this set.Parts compatibility: 90% - This category is more a nitpick than anything else as it isn't totally fair to expect compatibility between brands. I have found that all the parts are compatible with the popular brand, *except* axles and their associated connectors. These incompatible parts make up maybe 20-25% of this set. Otherwise, I've found the remainder of the parts capable of crossing brands.Cost: 50% - This category more than makes up for the minor shortcomings. I can easily put up with some minor shortcomings for about about half the cost.Overall value: 150% - I would argue this set is a great value and perfect for kids (and adults alike) that are interested in mechanical building toys, but don't want to spend a lot of money.

Fun little build. It took me about two hours to complete it. There are exactly 100 steps not including putting the control sticks on the remote. This little car is not very fast when running but super fun and I believe is a great way to relax and / or share the accomplishment of building something with your kid. You do have two options for building this vehicle but I only chose the one in the included instructions. If you would like to choose to build the second truck you will just use the QR code in the manual to get the instructions for the build.

This was the best random birthday party gift find. It was well loved by everyone we have gifted it to so far.
