Milliard 2" Egg Crate Ventilated Memory Foam Mattress Topper Queen 78"x58"x2”

I've held off writing a review because I wanted to make sure I would write an accurate review. I am normally a side and back sleeper but I was having trouble with my back and I couldn't lay on my back at all. Sleeping on my side all the time was causing my arms to fall asleep so I was miserable. I had an egg crate topper on my bed that was probably 20 years old so with the problems I was having I decided to look for a new mattress topper of some kind. Reviewing egg crate toppers online brought me to this topper listed as second best. I read reviews and it seemed to be what I needed/wanted. I also read the reviews on the topper listed as the best but many people talked about the lavender scent of the topper as being very strong and I am sensitive to smells so I decided on this one. When I received it I got it out of the box and it was so flat, I thought oh no, I have wasted $62.00. I remembered reading that it's very flat at first so I thought we will see what happens. I put it on the mattress and walked out of the bedroom. When I came back about 10 minutes later it was started to puff up and starting to actually look like an egg crate. Within a half hour it was thick and didn't even resemble what I took out of the box. That night I slept better than I had in weeks. Still couldn't lay on my back but my arms didn't fall asleep. Within a week I was sleeping on my back again. It has made my bed so comfortable again. My back is bothering me again but nothing like it had been and my arms never fall asleep anymore. I am extremely happy with my choice. When I sit down on my bed I can't believe how good it feels. Well worth the money.

I had read a lot of good things on the Milliards toppers so I wanted to get one. I did read how everyone complained about the smell of them but chose to purchase one anyways. I wish I would have listened bc I came home on my lunch to unbox this and laid it out on my bed and 20 minutes later I had a migraine. Not thinking much about it I slept through the night and woke up with another migraine. The topper was incredibly thin by the way, no support at all, it literally squishes down to a sheet of paper and I could still feel my firm mattress underneath. So sent it back the next day and my migraine went away. Just a bad experience with this. I thought since it was 2 inches it would be thick enough but I was wrong. Thin and flat!

This is the mattress topper of my dreams.I'm a severe insomniac. If I don't take two Benadryls, I spend hours twisting and turning out of anxiety/ unreleased energy / hyperstimulation of the social media world/ whatever. I am perpetually searching for ways to make my bed and bedroom more calming and inviting.I am also fairly athletic and exercise regularly, and prefer a softer mattress that allow my muscles to fully relax.When searching for a mattress topper, I remembered that one of the best sleeps I have ever had was in high school 15 years ago at a friend's house, who had an egg crate mattress topper. His was made of a cheap foam from Target, but I remember it being amazing even after 15 years.My husband hates cheap foam mattresses and warned me against buying a low-density sponge foam mattress topper. Plus, I'm older and have a little more disposable income, so I looked for something slightly denser than the one of my memory, and made of a memory foam. I chose this because of the reviews.I have never slept better in my life. I am actually able to fall asleep withOUT medications, and after workouts my muscles feel supported and relaxed. It's perfect.

I have slept on a Tempurpedic Contour mattress for 5 years and while comfortable in the short term/first laying down, I have always felt it was too firm overall. I have to shift sleeping positions to alleviate pressure and even then my hips and back and tighter than they ever were on a cheap entry level box springs-mattress combo. I finally decided to do something about it and look into a potential mattress topper before scrapping the whole mattress. After reading reviews from latex toppers, memory foam toppers, and bamboo toppers, I decided to give this one a shot. My logic was two-fold: it was the cheapest of the ones I looked into, so if no good or only so-so, it could get transferred to a guest room or junked with no major loss. Also, I always felt egg crate toppers were comfortable in my college rooms many years ago and I recently took a 2 week cruise and the bed in our cabin used an egg crate style pad and both my wife and I agreed it was very comfortable.This was waiting at my doorstep after work, I unboxed and unpackaged it, and laid it out on the guest bed for potential de-gassing. I did not smell anything funky and was eager to try it, so before bed we swapped it in. From the first night my wife and I both noticed a major difference. Less tossing and turning, no hot spots on my hips, and just very comfortable to be in bed. I am not going to exaggerate and say it fixed my back stiffness in 3 nights, but this was *easily* a great purchase at $70 to improve a less-than-amazing $3000 memory foam mattress.Are there better toppers out there? I have no idea- I went with this one and it is doing what I need. I can easily recommend this to anyone who wants to add a little comfort to their mattress at minimal costs. If it breaks down quickly or anything else, I will update my review and check out the other styles as needed.

I have an older mattress that is sagging in the middle and I have been getting lower back pain, but I didn't want to buy a new mattress yet, so, I added this topper. I also really wasn't sure what thickness to buy, in the end, I am happy that I bought the 2" model, it seems to be the perfect thickness for my body (I weigh about 190 lbs). I also really like the egg carton design, it feels nice to lie down on, and, it doesn't feel weird at all. I choose this design as I thought it would breath better and feel better than sleeping on a flat squishy surface and it has worked out really well. The topper helps with the older mattress, but it doesn't perform miracles and there is no question that I still look forward to replacing my mattress shortly, and, putting the topper onto the new mattress when I get it.Reading reviews on memory foam toppers, many mention that they get really warm sleeping on them and maybe even sweat. I was worried about this as I often sleep warm. I haven't noticed any issue like that at all.Many reviews mention a foul smell when you unpack it. I didn't notice any smell at all (I was relieved for sure about that!) Some said they had to air it out for days? No problem here. It also expanded almost fully within 30 minutes (some reviews say it took a day or 2?) so there was no problem sleeping on it the 1st night.Lastly, the label says it measures only 58" x 78" ,and a queen mattress measures 60" x 80", so I was a bit concerned before buying it. I find the size to be a perfect fit as the slightly smaller size helps when putting on your mattress pad and sheets (You can see the picture I uploaded).All in all I am happy that I bought it, and, the price was right; I paid $69 CAD on Amazon.ca, and that seemed like a good value (it didn't make sense to me to spend $100-150 o a topper when I could buy a decent new Sealy queen mattress @ Costco for $499 CAD). I would recommend this product as a good addition to help make a slightly more comfortable sleep.

Ordered this product for the kids beds in our trailer for camping. Arrived within 2 days of ordering as promised. Very good quality. You can tell the quality of memory foam by how quickly it takes it's original shape when unpacked. Within minutes all lines and fold marks were gone. Much thicker than I expected and a really great buy. Will order another shortly for our bed. Really impressed. Great price too.

This is an inexpensive memory foam topper that does the job. I wanted to make my futon mattress more comfortable and this did it. It added just enough softness and cushion to make a night and day difference. It arrived vacuum packed inside a reasonably sized box. I took the mattress out, be careful not to cut the foam when you cut the plastic packing bag, noticed a bit of off gas which was to be expected in new foam mattresses. The instruction says 48 hours for it to return to its original shape, but it took only 4 hours for mine to fully decompressed. I let it aired out for another few hours and it was ready to be used. The first night I could still notice a little bit of smell from the foam but it was completely gone after that.I have slept on it for 2 weeks now and I have to say it was a worthwhile investment. It makes my sleep 100% better, no more waking up with a sore back. The foam has the right amount of firmness and cushion. If you're looking to make your bed a more comfortable place to rest on, you can't go wrong with this.

Product received quickly and was as described. I didn't realize that it was ventilated with holes punched through it as I didn't notice that in the pictures from the add. That being said, it does seem to help with the heat from memory foam. I have an old memory foam topper which I cannot use as it reflects my body heat and makes it very uncomfortable to use. The Millard pad does return some heat but it is far superior to regular, unventilated memory foam. I find that it's cooler if I sleep on it with the flat side up, as I think I read in another review. May not be as intended but whatever works is all that counts. I'd give it a five star if it was cooler to sleep on.

Memory foam arrived within two days of ordering. Set out on top of a bed for two days to air as recommended. Filled out to a perfect king size fit with slight new foam smell that disappeared within a couple of days. It provides a soft top to an otherwise very firm mattress that was giving us back discomfort. Can now sleep through the night without be awakened by a stiff back. Gave it a four as sometimes it heats up (but not always) causing some perspiring around the legs and torso areas. I do recommend it and would buy it again at the sale price.
