They won’t see you coming in this camo hunting boot from Irish Setter. The RealTree AP Outrider Viper features a rugged leather upper is at home in the forest, so you can hunt more effectively. Beneath, a lugged rubber sole makes short work of any terrain, so you can go where you want this season. Hunting isn't their hobby. It's their calling. It's all they were made to do. In sixty years, they've never lost focus. They've never followed anything but their instincts. They've never let up. They still live for the chase, pursuing innovation from dusk to dawn. They're in the fields, the blinds and the stands, long after the fair-weather crowd heads inside. They do all of this to build incredible hunting boots, because at Irish Setter, the hunt never ends.

Not something I'd ever buy again after the last 20 months and definitely not worth the $200 price point.
First, I love these boots. I've had them since March of 2014 and have worn them for nearly every adventure. They are indeed waterproof... I've been in standing water up to the top for more than an hour. I hunt, hike, fish, etc. in these things and usually wear them all day. They are truly comfortable. The problem is the padding at the top is too thick and they don't zip up around my calves like they are supposed to. It is a problem others mentioned when I originally read reviews online before purchasing them so it wasn't completely unexpected. The biggest problems I've had with them though, and the real reason for the 2 star rating is that the zippers just suck and they are hard as hell to get on/off. The zipper broke on my left boot a month into owning them but I didn't care because they are still very warm and very water proof even with this failure. After having them for nearly 20 months though, I'm looking for another pair from a different brand. As much as I like these boots, they've taught me a good lesson about how much I don't like lace ups or zippers for calf high waterproof snake boots. Having a single, tiny little finger loop on the back side of the boot to pull them on with all your might when the padding is WAY too thick is just painful and annoying when your muscles are already sore day 2 of a long trip.I can't recommend these things even though I love them simply because the main components are junk and if you can't get them on and off then what they are built for doesn't really matter anyway. I'll keep them around but these are basically going to take the place of my rubber s*** boots that live in the truck. These won't be anything I'll rely on in the woods anymore.

Alright but not worth the $200
I ordered a little too big. I didn't realize that they were made larger than normal shoes. In normal shoes I wear a 10.5 in these a 9 to 9.5. Also its uncomfortable on the side of one of my ankles.

Beware! Had to Return!
These boots are extremely OVERSIZED in the ankle and calf areas. My husband even tried putting his coveralls inside the boot, but that didn't work either. He is a true size 13. At 6'2 and 240 lbs these boots didn't come close to fitting him properly.

Too Narrow
The boot was too narrow in the foot bed. Also a concern was the zipper being on the inside where you would load it with mud every step you took. Maybe move to the outside.

happy
I purchased these for my husband. He is an avid hunter and fisherman. He loves the boots. Great boots. Just what the hubby wanted

Too Small
Could not get my foot past the ankle part of the boot. So I returned them to the manufacture of the boot.

Nice boots.
Nice boots but being a woman with larger calfs they won't secure at the top. Otherwise comfortable boots and feel safer walking through the woods in summer.

Cheap zippers
Very dissapointed with these boots as the zipper broke soon after purchase.
