JBL Arena 125C 2-Way, Dual 5.5-Inch Center Channel Loudspeaker (Black)

I am really impressed with the JBL Arena series. I have the sub, center and in wall speakers. These are budget speakers but perform on a par with much more expensive products. Match them with a decent receiver capable of pushing out 75 watts per channel or more and they perform very well in typical home theater rooms, bonus rooms, basements etc.I have my JBL center paired with an expensive pair ($2,000+) of floor standing left and right front speakers and they perform as part of that sound stage very well. They particularly excel at delivering clear dialog in movies and 5.1 channel audio. I personally wouldn't use a center for music applications as a I think pure stereo is more true to life but this speaker is good enough to deliver a full range of sound if you choose to.

We have an existing JBl surround sound in our front room connected to our TV and Stereo receiver, but the volume and sound quality of the center channel speaker was a bit lacking. On a whim, I decided to purchase a larger center speaker to place over our TV, in the middle area of my sectional sofa. I simply disconnected my old speaker, and reconnected this new one in it's place. I am very pleasantly surprised in the sound performance. I thought it would be mediocre, but it is SO much better than listening to cheap, shoddy built-in TV speakers. Nice crisp treble, and mid-tones complement our subwoofer speaker quite nicely. I didn't look at the measurements before buying, which was my fault, because this thing is huge. I am s music enthusiast, and I played Spotify through it for a while. It's got B-I-G clear sound sound. Bublé never sounded so good! I would recommend JBL Arena to anyone.

This completed my 5.1 JBL arena home theater system. Replaced an older JBL center channel. A little larger than expected, but well built, and pairs nicely with JBL Arena 170 Floorstanding speakers. Sound is much improved over the speaker it replaced. Still sounds a little "boxier" then i would like. May need to give it a bit of time to break in more.

Not the quality as advertised. Returning it and being charged as well.

Needs power, and patience to tune properly. It can be made to work w/ other speakers but it’s preferable to match a center. I happen to like this speaker, especially for $125, great value at that price.

A superb center speaker. I won't get into all the tech stuff, I'll let others do that. I have 6 -- 5.1 set-ups in 6 locations. I have used an excellent BIC center in each of those, but that model has been recently discontinued, sadly -- it's the best center I've heard under $200. Well, this JBL is an equal or better replacement. No distortion at high volumes in a big room, great range, even sound. Superb.

EXCELLENT - get this one instead of the cheaper / smaller version. the sound quality on this one is alot better. I returned the smaller one to get this one. LOVE LOVE It

I love the entire Arena Series. I have the 180's, 130's, sub woofer 100p, and the 125c. I plan to ti purchase another Arena 100p, and next the 120's.
