This is a cute shoe and I am sure it would be very comfortable for someone with a normal foot. However, I need a more supportive sole with less give in it. The footbed is not removable, as it is glued in, and the shoe was not deep enough to accommodate my orthotic on top of the original footbed. The black is shiny and soft, which is hard to see in the photo. I am going to return mine and keep looking for the perfect sandals with a supportive footbed AND adjustable straps for my narrow, flat foot. They have to be out there, they really do!!
