Delivery date- On timePackaging- wasn't upto the mark as no cushioning was given around or over the pan. Package was open through one side while receiving and since no apparent damage was there, it was accepted.First look- new piece, but two scratches were visible along the rim. Decided not the return though. Only pan was present, no spatula was provided. May be fell off with faulty packaging. Or not part of the final product. No idea.Experiance:Initially scrubbed the pan with salt and oil vigrously for 2-3, times. And then with dish soap till no brownish black residue was leeching.Throughly wiped the pan on both sides and applied mustard oil all over the pan including the handle and wiped off the excess oil completely.Placed the pan upside down in a pre heated oven at 350F for 40minutes and let it cool down to room temperature.The pan looked well seasoned,yet applied another coating of oil and placed it over induction and heated and wiped off excess oil. First dosa was sticking a lot. Had to release with a lot of oil. But consequent dosas after wiping the pan with oil for 2-3 times initially resulted in very crisp dosas and glossy pan surface. Equivalent to non-stick if seasoned well. After use, use a tissue to wipe out excess oil and store. Do not constantly use soap and water to clean as it rips off the seasoning.Go for it, VFM at Rs.430 A life time investment.

Good product

This pan is screwing up my dosas. No clue how to season this pan. Generating a harsh sound whenever the spatula is used on the tava.

Everything about the product is fantastic.Product was found exactly as per seller specifications. Hats off to our country's artisans for making these beautiful products. Some feedback for improvement : Pl. smoothen the sharp edges along all cutting lines.Pl. also mention the BASE DIAMETER for all products for helping the customer zero in on their selection. Anyhow, I am extremely happy with the product in terms of quality (superb) ,thickness (3mm) ,shape (flat bottom and slightly raised border) , size (10 inch Face Diameter) and weight (1.5kg) . It is induction friendly and seems to be very very durable.The Turner provided with the tawa is equally good, functional and beautiful.
