Works great on my ribbon burner forge!
This is a definite upgrade from the adjustable one I picked up from the depot. I'm using this on my Ribbon Burner forge and with the added gadge it's super easy to get my pressure to the forge from heat to forge weld temps with a simple turn of the knob. Regulator is solid built and the set nut helps keep a max pressure easy to get back to when needed. Definitely recommend for any forge use that you need up to 30 psi to run.

Old school durability and control.
This regulator is a direct replacement for one that stood by me through all sorts of abuse for over 35 years.You really need to follow the old school rule of "if it ain't broke, don't fix it!" That speaks volumes for this time tested design.

Smooth/fine tuning of flow
So far so good, just received the regulator and added a pressure gauge. Hooked it up and it has very smooth adjustment. I did notice that i maxed out at 20psi instead of the proclaimed 30psi with a standard 20lb Lp bottle. Ill test again on the 100lb, as the 20 may be low. I highly doubt ill need anything over 10-15psi anyhow. Now the true test, how long will it last.
