Not bad at all
These are some pretty good shoes! The fit was great, they were comfortable, and despite walking in hot weather my feet stayed dry. The shoes were a little stiff but they're great once you break them in.

Great everyday shoe
My go to for everyday shoes. Have had several pairs in succession. Comfortable, well made, look good, fit well. In fact I always keep a new pair in a box in my closet in case they get backordered or discontinued in the future.

Roomy, light, good traction
Mild bunions, a susceptibility to plantar fasciitis, and ridiculous linear growth over the decades (from size 10.5 to size 13 since 1970) have all made my feet finicky. Shoes that seem fine for two days often pose problems later. After seven days' hiking---4.2 miles a day over mostly rocky, uneven ground---these shoes are still comfortable. If they continue accommodating my feet and also hold up well, lasting six months or more, they will be the best bargain in shoes I've ever bought. Update, May 16, 2025: I have now worn these shoes on at least 260 days, putting about a thousand miles on them. The heals are showing wear, and the lace on one shoe required replacement, but otherwise the shoes are in fine condition. They should be good for at least five months more. They have never hurt my feet.

Good value
My husband loves these shoes. I'm a little skeptical about how long they'll last because they don't seem very sturdy, but they're comfortable right out of the box, so no need to break them in.

Excellent hiking shoe - very comfortable
Have been walking the neighborhood and I find the shoes very comfortable. The shoe is very stable and the soles while thick are pretty light. It is an attractive shoe and the laces are very good and are of a convenient length. Sizing is good. Well done!

The Most Comfortable for Day of Hiking
The Columbia Crestwood stands out for its exceptional comfort, light weight, and breathable ride straight out of the box. Ideal for day hikes, frequent trails, and casual outdoor use. If you’re picky about arch support or logging long treks, you might enhance the comfort with supportive insoles and socks. Ordering a half-size up is a wise move—especially if you hike in cooler weather with thicker socks.Among budget hiking boots, the Crestwood is among the most comfortable—a great everyday trail shoe that performs well on shorter treks.

Outstanding quality & comfort!
Good looking shoe; great quality; excellent support and cushion; extremely comfortable. Wore them for 3 weeks in Europe, including on trails in the Alps - excellent shoes! Wouldn't hesitate to buy them again in a heartbeat!

Good walking shoes
Overall good shoes, got these for my roommate, he goes through shoes so fast that $200+ shoe options were not realistically sustainable option anymore. Needed to find more affordable option while not compromising the quality. These were a good fit, comfortable for longer walks, design is quite good as well.
