Works well
I needed this for a 25" deep or so server case where the power unit and the HDs are on opposite ends and the standard cables are just too short. I would also recommend these for pretty crammed smaller towers because they are much more flexible than the flat ones and will fit better in situations where the SATA ports on the board don't have much room around them

Unraid expansion and great cable management
I have a unraid server with dual xeons and plenty of hard drive expansion. I used these to clean up some cable management I have some nice kingwin hot swap bays paired with this and having the snap connectors are a must to prevent bad connections. Works great no issues with mysetup

If you're having problems with drives not being recognized or have slow speeds
I have 4 external SATA drives (not eSATA) via an internal 4 port PCIe SATA card brought out to chassis SATA ports. Some drives were not being recognized. I found out after much troubleshooting and some research that my long SATA cables were old and not capable of higher speeds. This fixed the issue.

Great cable but kind of fragile
This is a great cable with good throughput. Only problem is it is very difficult to cable it in computer cases with tight spots. It is very thin and feels brittle. needs to be handle carefully.

If you need more than one sata cable....
just get this? Very compact, pretty easy to work with, VERY nice for cable management. thank you for labeling in advance!

Problematic and very fragile.
I absolutely babied this cable assembly for installation. It feels so fragile, yet stiff straight out of the bag. Despite having very gradual corner curves and plenty of space for the installation (putting it into an EATX case), it still gave sporadic drive disconnections in the few months I had it installed. I would get very long boot up times, random crashes, non-readable disk drives. I put aesthetics over function and got these. Don't make the same mistake I did. Skip these cables.

They're cables. They work.
Not much to say, they are cables and they work. I love the bundled single length vs the separate flat cables this replaced. Far less clutter in my home server.
