This sensor is the reason these cameras record crisp 4K video that is well-defined and highly detailed. They also use wide-angle lenses that provide expansive field-of-views. 4à better than 1080p The additional resolution provided by your 4K security cameras might turn out to be the difference you need. Should an incident ever occur on your property, you will be able to digitally zoom in further on distant objects when analyzing footage. This is because every frame contains 4à more pixels than you would receive with a 1080p HD security camera. So the details won't blur together as quickly when you zoom in, which means you have a much better chance to capture the specific evidence you require. Smooth 30FPS recording The cameras in this system are capable of recording at a real-time 30 frames per second (FPS) recording rate in 4K Ultra HD resolution. This high frame rate will provide you with exceptionally smooth on-screen movement and help capture the precise moment you need for evidence, simply because there are more frames available to choose from. 4

Great System!
Works great, easy to set up and the cameras with built in mics are just what I needed. Easy to add cameras to the system and I have found that the Lorex cameras work the best out of what I have tried.Defiantly stick with the 16 or more channel system as you always have someplace that can use another and it’s easy to add with this POE system. It makes it much easier to install if you add a POE switch in the attic or some central point so that you can just have 1 cat6 wire going to the NVR and all the cameras power and network supplied by the switch, cuts down on wires running through the wall where your NVR is.Get a nice UPS and it will continue to work and record even when the power is out.I don’t know how they were able to give me the deal I got as I was trying to add more of the same cameras that came with this system and 2 more were going to cost me more that the whole thing cost me with a 16 channel NVR and 4 really good cameras. If I’d have know then what I know now I would have purchased 3 systems and easily made all my money back by selling parts I didn’t need.

Great picture. Bad software
The picture quality is great. The software is another issue. I have owned different Lorex systems over the last 10 years and the software has always been sub par. However, if you want a camera system with great picture quality, I have not found any that beat this one.

Solid
Love this system, great cameras the NVR is a little loud with that fan. There is a bunch of options that many not understand off the bat, Lorex does have some videos on YouTube explaining some of them, but I wish they had one long video or a series explaining everything in the system.

BAD QUALITY
Cameras are terrible quality! Two orders were accidentally placed, my fault entirely, however when I sent back one of the orders it took me 6 weeks to get my money back!
