Hawaii Kauai Coffee Mugs Vintage Montage 2 pack

I spent 8 weeks on Kauai, and if you know the island, its very quiet without many souviner shops. I wasn't able to find any cups like this while I was there. And since there is no Starbucks, I couldn't purchase a Starbucks Kauai cup. I ordered these when I got home. they are beautiful, strday, the paint is glazed into the ceramic so it doesn't peel or scratch off. I take extra precautions and wash them by hand because I want them to last a long, long time.

The mugs are of good quality, but glaze coloring has been changed from the original soft aqua to a faded lemon/lime yellow. However, the ad photos and gift boxes have not been changed to reflect what will be found inside and, for me, it was not pleasant. I have returned them.

I saw this mug while in Kauai and should have bought it when I saw it. I was so excited to see it on Amazon. Delivery from Hawaii was quick and I had an extra mug to give to my traveling companion.

Bought this same cup at a little restaurant we happened on to while exploring the island. Wish I had bought more. It's a beautiful souvenir! I loved thchickens that were everywhere on the island just roaming free!
