Holds a ton of glass but not a ton of accessories
For a reasonably light (3.5 pounds) backpack that doesn't look humongous on my 5'11" frame this backpack sure holds a lot of kit. In the main compartment, I fit my Sony Alpha 7 IV body with 24-70mm f/4.0 attached, a Sony 70-200mm f/4.0, a Sony 85mm f/1.8, a Viltrox 16mm f./1.8 and a Sigma 150-600mm lens. Also in that main compartment I have space for the rain hood, and a battery charging dock (with two spare batteries).I do like that the main compartment is behind the backpack straps, meaning your gear is well protected from theft while walking around in sketch areas. I did reconfigure all the velcro so that the camera body comes out easily via the top load zipper. Out of the box, that space is reserved for a big lens like the 150-600.That's about where it ends as far as "ample room" goes. That said there is a tablet or laptop sleeve which "can" fit my MacBook Pro 15", but feels a lot better with my 13" iPad Pro instead. Also behind the straps is a smaller zipper pocket suitable for a passport and maybe a phone. Great for security, again. There's a side pocket that can hold a large water bottle, or with included strap a tripod, which is handy. There's a few more zipper pockets on the outside, but they are narrow and won't carry anything too thick. But for getting a rather large kit around with minimal size and weight, you can't do much better for your money.

Very nice looking and comfortable to wear
I really like the way this bag looks. Function... well, I'm still figuring that out.. it's not the bag's fault, it's what am I doing with it...I bought it mainly so I could have a laptop bag and carry my camera and lens on work trips. For that, it's perfect and then some. It sort of fits under the seat in front you on a plane, so it is a 'personal item'. So you can still have your carry-on too. This bag holds a lot. It has the strap to attach it to your wheeled luggage.I recently used it as a 'carry-all' when I wanted to bring everything to see the eclipse.I packed:Canon R10 w/ 100-400 mounted.Canon R6 w/ 28-70 mountedRF-s 18-150RF 800/f11Godox V1 FlashChargers, extra cables, battery packs, etc.It was a good fit.I could've squeezed in a little more. I definitely could've taken my Surface Pro and its charger.. but didn't. It was already pretty heavy. It doesn't hold my tripod well. Mine has the center stand that folds back into itself. Needs to have the legs tighter together to fit.It has little zippered compartments around it that I can't seem to find much use for.The side pockets are a little odd to me.There is side-access if you want to sling around your bag and access your camera with lens mounted... I don't know if I'll need this... but we'll see. There is a shoulder strap you can use to attach at the top, which is kind of a weird use case for this bag... but I guess I could see it.There are leather-covered side handles that make it like a briefcase, helping with the 'personal item' ruse... "Just my laptop!" I'd say.So far, it has been able to do 2 things well. Plus, even when fully loaded, it's pretty comfortable. That's the biggest surprise to me. Plus it just looks good while wearing it. It's a nice flat rectangular box that looks somewhat sophisticated or sleek. I feel metro!I don't think you can do better for the price. I like it a lot.

41 Size is perfect for a DSLR and Accessories
I am always on the lookout for a lightweight backpack for my DSLR that won't break my back. I am pretty sure the VEO Select 41 is it! It fits all my accessories in their own spots - all easily accessable from the outside. A huge plus for me is that when I'm ready to shoot, I can lay the bag down flat, unzip the back and have visible access to everything I need via the back where you can unzip the bag, without exposing my wallet and keys too! There is no need to dig around and lose minutes with this bag, everything is accessable! It fits my laptop, making it a perfect travel bag too. It fits under the seat infront of me on a flight, so if I can't take my rolling bag on with me, I can grab the essentials and know they are safe and will arrive at my destination, with my backups under the plane, my main gear can safely stay with me. If I could give it more than five stars I would. It is sleek and stylish - as a woman, I am very keen on carrying this bag - it isn't trying too hard to be feminine and it isn't such a "dude bag" that I don't feel stylish carrying it. The magnetic hold downs for the tabs on the side are a great touch and keep the bag's form. There are so many areas to clip things on to keep them within reach and it comes with a rain cover as well. This bag will definitely accompany me to the mountains.

Perfect fit.
The item arrived in a timely manner and came well packaged. This backpack meets all my expectations. Vanguard’s quality and attention to detail is excellent. I already have another bag by Vanguard, but it is a bit small for my growing kit. I have a small micro four thirds camera, with four lenses in addition to the one on my camera. All fit nicely with room for accessories. I am 5’1 and 70 years old, so size is an issue. Th pack fits me just fine and it is easy to carry. So glad I made this purchase!Update: used this for air travel and was really pleased with the functionality. Fit nicely under the seat. Easy to reach necessary items and was even able to take my very large birding lens! Really great product. Highly recommend.

Heavy, needs pockets inside. Elegant, but delicate exterior materials.
Heavy. I would appreciate a new version with some pockets for small items in the main compartment. Elegant, but delicate exterior materials (needs to be used with care, not "off road"/rude environments)
