The easiest tent I've ever put up! Great for the beach...
This is the easiest tent I've ever put up! You literally pull on a cord and the whole thing pops up at once. It's great to use on the beach, which we did today. It has pockets on the corners to fill up with sand to keep it from moving when the wind kicks up. There are little pockets inside on the top for your sunscreen, etc. and we love that you can open the two windows if you want. The whole tent, which folds easily into the bag, is very lightweight. I'd recommend this to anyone heading to the beach when you want shelter/shade.

Four Stars
The poles are prone to breaking. If one breaks the tent is virtually ruined.

I was disappointed with this item
I was disappointed with this item. Light speed has shelters that open differently and this opens by pulling a cord to the side while holding the top of the entire shelter. Doing this requires a lot of strength in the arms. It would also help if you have long arms, which I do & still had trouble, because you get to a point where you need to move your arm back to the top of the shelter once you run out of cord. It can be tough to set up and dismantle in the wind. Earlier this summer I bought a $20 sun shelter with fiberglass poles that fold & thought this would be better because of the fact that I would not have to fold & unfold the poles. I prefer the cheaper shelter. This Kona does have two windows, with zipper pulls on the inside and outside but it DOES NOT HAVE SCREENS!!!!! I have never seen nor heard of a sun shelter that does not have screens so I did not even think to search for this as a feature. Screens provide a measure of sun protection when the windows are open, as well as air flow & this shelter does NOT have it! It gets very hot inside, so much so that I would never have a child nap in it. I use a spray bottle with a fan that I bought at Disney while in this shelter. It was only 80 degrees today and it was excrutiating in this shelter. I cannot believe Light Speed did not spend the extra dollar it would have cost them to put screens on this!! I know that some of their other products have screens so the company has the ability to use them without disturbing the functionality of the set up & take down. I do not know why another reviewer said this sun shelter is roomy. It is not. It fits two beach chairs when the chairs are pushed together, but even then, the chairs hit the window panel. I would never purchase this item again.

Great, but gets hot inside.
This product works exactly as advertised: It sets up and takes down literally in seconds and can be shelter from the sun and light rain. The stakes are four L-shaped pins that can be hooked into the shelter's four loops to keep the shelter planted on grass. It is spacious enough for my three children (all under 6 years old) to sit and/or stand confortably. Overall, it feels alot like an umbrella as far as material and operation.Unfortunately, it gets freaky hot inside on sunny days. My daughter and I sat in it for lunch on a sunny 82°F day. While the sun wasn't beating down on us directly, it made the walls of the shelter very warm and it felt like we were sitting in the shade next to a heater. Opening the zipper windows allowed some air circulation, but that also allowed alot of sunlight in too.I hate to give 3 stars to something that works as advertised, but the heat problem felt prett bad. Lightspeed should look into some heat-reflective materials.

The quick shelter is just like it advertises
The quick shelter is just like it advertises: extremely easy to pop up and take down. It is really spacious and lightweight. However, it is very flimsy and doesn't hold up well at all against the wind. We took it to the beach in Hawaii four times, and the stakes did not hold in the sand, so the tent blew over which caused one of the poles to snap. When we took it back to Costco the cashier said several people had the same issue. If it were sturdier this shelter would be the best!
