When I bought my current desk chair many years ago, it became a great addition to my den. I've used that chair for an untold number of hours over the years, but despite the extensive use it still looks and feels great. Part of the reason is I've always kept the seat upholstery covered, and what's worked the best is an old-fashioned "rag rug." That's what my family has always called them because rather than being made from a weaving process they're made by using pieces of cloth materials rolled into a tight tube-like shape and then the tubes are all stitched together, side-by-side. Depending on the materials used to make the tubes and how they are sewn together, the rug can be anything from soft and supple, to stiff and strong, with all kinds of variations in-between. Well the rag rug I've used on the chair finally give up-the-ghost recently after many, many trips through our washing machine (having the seat covered also saves the need to have the upholstery cleaned). So I ordered three new rugs, one of which was this DII Chindi, in gray. It looks great and feels just as good. The price on these rugs is a lot more than what the original cost, but everything has gone up and their cost today is just as affordable as those of long ago. I actually think these rag rugs make better "toppers" for chair seats and cabinet tops than they do floor rugs because they don't have any kind of non-slip backing on them. That means that unless you use them on wall-to-wall carpeting they do tend to slip on vinyl flooring and a lot of different tile floors. Regardless, if you have a use for a rag rug, these are great!

Wow! Just got this rug 20 minutes ago. It's gorgeous. It's heavy, well-made rag rug. The size is true to it's advertised dimensions. Only one thing I wasn't overly thrilled with- the color is more orange tinted than the mustard yellow shown in the pictures, but it looks great in the space so I'm keeping it. And, it didn't have hoards of other colors weaved into it, just some dark grays here and there, which I'm happy about. Great rug, great price.

This is really cute. ,and bigger than expected. But the fringe is much different, it is strips of cloth. Still pretty , but fancy and bright.

Perfect size.

Rugs are true in color and made as advertised. Seem durable and comfortable on my feet, no annoying knots in weave.

This is the rug in stone. I ordered two sizes, both arrived this lighter color versus the stock image. I know there’s going to be some variances. But maybe the stick image could either be remotely in the same color family or reflect all the variable shades you could receive. Get it on sale and expect a surprise color. It’s very heavy and nice, just going to keep it.

Under no circumstances whatsoever do I recommend buying these rugs AT ALL! 1) I ordered two of these rugs and they came a few days ago and opened the box I was thoroughly appalled at how BADLY they stank! These rugs, new out of the box, stink of mold and having sat in someone's watery, flooded basement for ages. I immediately threw them in the wash, by themselves, with a generous amount of scent crystals detergents and such and even though they were washed, they still stank of mold! 2) according to the product description, and, I might add the cardboard tag attached to the rugs themselves, these things are machine washable. They are not washable by any means, period! A fact eluded to by the tag attached to the rugs themselves! Not only that, according to the tag on the rugs, you're not even supposed to vacuum them, but "shake them" to get rid of the dirt, which again, I will add, neither the product description on Amazon nor on the cardboard store tags ever mentioned this! I did not think to check the tags on the rugs until after they had gone through the wash, on the gentle cycle I might add, and found that brand new, they were falling apart and unraveling after being washed! 3) it was then that I found 2 other pieces of information that neither the cardboard store tags nor the product description mention. 4) The tags on the rugs themselves very EXPLICITLY warn you make well sure you've placed something under your news rugs, a barrier between the rugs and your floors. Why? Because the tag warns you that they will bleed dye color on to your flooring!! 5) And most importantly, t was this last bit of information that alarmed me the most! According to the tags attached to the rugs themselves and, nowhere on the product description nor on the store tags, does it warn the buyer that these rugs FAILED THE GOVERNMENT FIRE SAFETY TESTS AND ARE HIGHLY FLAMMABLE!! These things should even be sold in the first place!!

The mat/rug was mostly what I expected. It is advertised as black with some colour variation. I was happy with that but not the red pieces that were interwoven.

Nice rug and washable. Hopefully last for years.

We purchased as a rug to use next to our patio door. The first thing my wife and I noticed is it is well stitched, it seems as if it manufactured in a manner that is going to last. We have three boys and they are in and out using the patio quite a lot. We have experienced that it is easy to clean and has no trouble handling water brought in from outside. An added bonus is that it looks really great in our space!We also bought a larger one. My wife and I were looking for an rug to help pull out tv room together but we weren't interested in spending the crazy money that they cost due to having 3 boys that are 5 and under.This rug I can tell you is worth the price and they honestly could charge more! It is well made, well stitched, very durable. It is also very comfortable on the feet and has become the new favorite place to relax for our two oldest boys and our 1 year old kitty.I wasn't sure about rag rugs before by this, now, I am sure I will be getting us a few more.
