Inexpesive, and easy to use Sound Blaster!
I have installed this in our conference room and it went perfectly well. I have attached 4 big ceiling mounted speaker and though im skeptic it would work, guess what? it worked! Put it in full blast and it is loud, not as super loud as expensive equipment we have right now. But still, this device can compete and provide you better quality without.I like the fact it is also an MP3 player. But you need to make sure the external storage (USB or SDCARD) is formated as FAT/FAT32 system. It cannot read NTFS (I never tried the Mac version file system). If in doubt, just use the FAT32 file system to store your musics.I have also used RCA connection with my old DVD player and microphone system, as usual, it worked pretty well.. it boost the sound significantly. As of this writing, I have just connected by phone via BT, I went outside and it's still picking up my BT signal.. Just so you know, you need to put MODE to "BLUE" for you to be able to see PYLE in your phone.. Took me awhile to realize that LOLThis is really amazing because there are lots of thing you could use with this device. Im glad I have this with me, small yet powerful device ready for upcoming party!!!Wishlish for this model;(for cosmetic) I wish they move all connectivity (input and output) at the back.. I hate seeing wires at front.. again, just my preference

Excellent value for the price.
Received it tonight, and thus far have checked out the FM radio, Auxiliary In, headphone out, and the USB in. Currently, I'm listening to music stored on my desktop computer via the PC's headphone out. I'm also testing it with my different headphones. The best sound, thus far, is from the computer. To set up the FM, insert an FM antenna in the antenna socket in the back. I ordered the one suggested in the PCAU46BA Amazon ad. It comes with several adapters. One is a perfect fit. (It fits loose and has a tendency to slip to the right or left if not straight up. I'll have to figure out how to tighten it.) Click the MODE button until FM is showing. Press the EQ button on the remote. It'll automatically find the available stations and assign them to channels. Press the CH- and CH+ keys to switch channels.Give your ears a chance to acclimate to the sound. At first, it sounds a bit harsh, but it warms up after a half hour or so. The headphones that seem to be best with it are my Grados: SR80e, HF2, and GS1000. But I'll have to test further. The longer I listen, the better it sounds. I'm guessing it's not the amp itself but my ears simply getting used to the sound. The build quality is excellent. It looks good. I tried the Bluetooth but couldn't get it to work with my MP3 player. I'll need to read the manual and play with it more.

would work for what i need if not for the issues
start with the fm mode, the book indicates the remote buttons CH- and CH+ to select stations, ..does not change the stations, the only way i could get the stations to change was by entering them manually on the remote with the number buttons, and none of the buttons on the unit seem to operate this function either.if using the volume control from the remote, once the unit is turned off then back on, it starts at full volume.when the unit is turned off there's a "click/pop" that comes through the speakersusb seems to work okay, if you want to go through songs 1by1, it won't go to individual folders.haven't tried the bluetooth or sd slot yet so i do not know as to their functionality.if none of these issues are similar in other reviews, perhaps a received a faulty unit

Surprising for such a little device
I'm really happy with the variety of options I have with this little amp, and am impressed with the power.I'm using it to drive two speakers in my garage. Sometimes I just have FM going through it, sometimes I'm using Bluetooth from my phone.I can use Bluetooth, FM, Aux (3.5 mm input), SD card, USB connection, and there is even RCA input on the back. The sound quality is great in my opinion. I was just using the FM input at first and was fine with it. But when I used the Bluetooth to stream a higher quality, it sounded great, and connecting to BT was easy. I usually set my phone down a few feet from the receiver, so I don't know the effective range.I wish it could remember the last "mode" I was in, but it's not a big deal. The default when turning on is Bluetooth. The speaker connectors on the back are weak, so you'll need to be careful when connecting the speaker wire, but it holds just fine. You need to physically turn the unit on with a rocker switch, but after that, the remote can handle everything else.Great features and quality for the price. We will see if it can handle being in the garage over time.

Remote control flimsy and unsatisfactory
While audio quality was OK, first remote didn't work. Replacement was very difficult to use. A universal remote I bought separately wouldn't work with this amplifier. I returned both

Nice Sounding Multi-Function Amp with BT
- Attractive, - Nicely built, - Sounds goodThis nice little BT Amp is similar to an older Pyle Amp (PTAU45) I've used happily for 5+ years. This unit adds Bluetooth input as well as an FM receiver, USB input and a remote control. Of course it has standard stereo input and rca input also. It came securely and neatly packaged and very clean. It has a thick black metal housing and all the controls feel substantial. It works fine right out of the box and the sound is quite good, especially at this price point. It's plenty loud and will work nicely to provide sound outside in the yard when the weather is nice. )
