CAMELBAK Eddy Water Bottle

I really like this bottle and find it useful when I'm out and about with my 3 month old as I can hook it onto the pram. However, after a particularly active week of doing this every day I noticed that the bottle had started to leak quite considerably. And no matter how much I wash it using either the dishwasher or washing by hand, black mould grows in the mouthpiece join within an hour or so. I'm really disappointed as my previous eddy had neither of these problems and I had it for nearly a year before I sadly left it on a bus. Now I'm having to look for a new water bottle just 2 months after buying this one.

Love these water bottles - they don't leak, don't need to pour and actually make me drink more water which is weird but good! One thing I would mention, I ordered one for my mum as she loves it and was sharing mine... i wanted the smallest size which was 0.57L and the only colour they had available was the African violet colour which was fine, but when it arrived it's actually 750ml so maybe you need to list the sizes abit better on amazon as they don't add up 100% but other than that I love it and definitely recommend 😁

This is without doubt the best water bottle I've ever owned. I wish I'd got one ages ago. If you used to the usual type of water bottles, the ones that you pull the end out with your teeth and then tip it up to get the water out, this will at first seem a bit strange to you. The bit that holds the water is solid non-flexible plastic and there's a tube connected to the lid which goes right down to the bottom of bottle. The mouth piece is made of rubber with a silt in the end of it. When it's not in use, the slit is sealed shut to seal the bottle and when you want a drink you bite it to open the slit and suck to get the liquid up the tube and into your mouth.There's a also a really handy handle so it's easy to carry if you've got your hands full with sports equipment or whatever. You can simply hook it over a finger which leaves your hands free to carry everything else.It's easy to clean as I've invested in some OXO Good Grips Water/Sports Bottle Brushes which make cleaning a breeze.My wife also got one of these at the same time I got mine and she loves hers as well. In summary, if you're looking for a water bottle, you can't go wrong with this one. Yes, it s a bit more expensive than your run of the mill water bottles but you certainly get what you pay for. Highly recommended.

I bought this as I have wanted a bottle for a while that would be spill proof and would also allow me to keep check of the water i'm drinking so it needed to be a specific size.I purchased the item sized as "one" after reading the questions below the listing to confirm that this product would definitely be a one litre bottle. They, rather misleadingly, said it was definitely one litre. I also checked the pictures in the listing and the pictures showing dimensions mark the "one" bottle as the same dimensions as the "one litre" reaffirming that this would be the case. To my surprise when it arrived, the bottle is clearly marked as 750ml. Not what I had wanted at all.The straw within is a little short and so the last few ml of water etc cannot be drank through the normal method.Despite the wrong size and the slightly too short straw, the item is very good. The colour makes it stand out for me (I bought Limeade cause I love green) and unless overfilled it is spill proof.I was also impressed to see a sticker on the bottle offering a lifetime guarantee which is a great boost.Fantastic purchase!!!

Use this for work while I carry my notebook, laptop, etc.. and so convenient to be able to lift it with a finger. I think 750ml is just the sweet spot for size, where it can hydrate you for a few hours without a top up. Really convenient shape as well to fit in bags, etc.. when travelling. You will need quite a strong suction to draw from the straw so do consider this when purchasing. Very easy to disassemble and clean, with maybe the exception of the part where the mouth comes into contact with, can get quite niggly to clean out the dirt inside. Translucent plastic parts do yellow over time but replacement parts can be bought for this. Also, it has not leaked any water so far and the mouthpiece is great at keeping water where it needs to be. Outside has been bone dry since day one and haven't had any water drip out yet!

I purchased the CamelBak water bottle as I am tired of buying cheap bottles that don't last at all!The bottle arrived quickly and packaged well as always from Amazon.It it very easy to clean and comes apart and fixes back together very easily. It doesn't leak like the cheaper bottles and does not spill out of the straw when not in use.I have since purchased one for my son to use!

I love camelbak eddy bottles, this is the second one I have had. The design makes it easy for me, a person who never drinks enough water, to drink 600ml in just a few minutes. I'm currently breastfeeding my almost 6 month old baby, which is thirsty work. So I nearly always have this bottle next to me when I'm feeding him. The bite valve doesn't last forever, and make sure you don't let small children stick their fingers inside it or it will split after a while (sounds weird but little kids love doing this for some reason).

I love this bottle!I’m very bad at drinking enough unless I have a bottle to drink from.It is completely non spill and is easy to clean, bite valve and straw come away from the lid for cleaning - I use a bit of fairy liquid, and soak them in hot water, the company advice against bottle brushes incase of accidental damage, however you can purchase new straws and bite valves but they are a bit pricey!The bottle comes in a verity of colours and volumes 750ml is just right for me, fits in my handbag and plenty to drink!

Bereits meine zweite eddy Flasche, nun bin ich aber zutiefst enttäuscht.Obwohl ich die Flasche ausschließlich mit stillem Wasser befülle ist sie undicht und um's verrecken nicht dicht zu bekommen.Es tröpfelt nicht nur etwas, nein es läuft förrmlich am Gewinde entlang aus.Für mich also völlig unbrauchbar, da ich sie gerne in der Arbeit benutzen würde, aber ein Transport in der Tasche oder im Rucksack so leider unmöglich ist weil man sich alles einsaut.Das bin ich von Camelbak besser gewöhnt.Meine erste eddy war stets zuverlässig dicht.

GRÖßE:Die CamelBak Eddy gibt es in verschiedenen Größen - klarer Pluspunkt.FARBE:Ich habe mich für das pinke Modell entschieden - die Farbe bleibt auch nach etlichen Waschgängen in der Spülmaschine bestehen und verblasst nicht.PFLEGE/ABWASCH:Deckel und Halm spüle ich immer per Hand. Den oberen Teil kann man zum Spülen komplett auseinandernehmen, d.h. Trinkhalm, Mundstück und Deckel lassen sich voneinander trennen. Man hat ebenfalls die Möglichkeit einzelne Teile nachzubestellen, wobei sich preislich fast eher lohnt eine neue Flasche zu bestellen. Schade eigentlich im Sinne der Nachhaltigkeit.VERWENDUNG:Man klappt den Strohhalm nach vorne und kann dann durch saugen daraus trinken. Dadurch das der Halm weich ist, kann man auch super während des Laufens oder Hüpfens daraus trinken, ohne dass man sich die Zähne anhaut. Durch den Tragegriff am Deckel kann man die Flasche auch mal eben vom Boden fischen.Ein Punkt Abzug dafür, dass die Flasche nicht spülmaschinengeeignet ist - und einzelne Teile z.B. das Mundstück zum Nachbestellen unangemessen teuer im Verhältnis sind. Ansonsten eine schöne Sportflasche - optisch und praktisch.

Habe bereits meine zweite Camelbak, weil ich dadurch viel mehr trinke. Vor allem zum Sport oder Autofahren geeignet, da man die Flasche zum trinken nicht anheben braucht.Nachteil ist die Reinigung, auch wenn man die Flasche gut auseinander bauen kann und in der Spülmaschine reinigen kann. Sie vergilbt zirmlich schnell und der Deckel ist schwer zu reinigen. Leider ist die Flasche nicht wie versprochen wasserdicht, obwohl ich nur stilles Wasser einfülle. Sobald die Flasche nicht gerade steht/liegt, läuft Flüssigkeit aus, was sehr ärgerlich ist.

Ich verwende diese Flasche nur im Auto. Bei Amazon habe ich den tollen Flaschenhalter von "Mulit-Paul Auto- Autoflaschenhalter" gekauft, da passt die die Flasche perfekt hinein. Ideal ist die Flasche weil sie ein Mundstück hat und man sein Getränk zu sich nehmen kann ohne dass man den Kopf irgendwie drehen od. kippen muss und daher beim Fahren nicht abgelenkt wird. Man kann sich voll auf die Strasse konzentrieren. Zum Flaschenhalter wäre noch zu erwähnen das dieser schnell und einfach mittels dem aufblasbaren Polster zwischen Fahrer- oder Beifahrersitz und Tunnel einklemmen kann. Daher kein Bohren und Schrauben notwendig. Ausserdem hält der Halter das Getränk an heissen Tagen auch ziemlich kühl. Bin sehr sehr mit beiden Produkten zufrieden und kann diese nur weiterempfehlen. Wer beides zusammen nützen möchte, dem empfehle ich am Boden des Flaschenhalters ein Holzstück 2x4 cm unterzulegen da der Abstand der Flasche zur Seitenwand nur einige Millimeter beträgt und daurch ein Sog entsteht und mit einer Hand daher schwehrer herauszuziehen ist. Ist aber nur nötig wenn der Fahrer alleine unterwegs ist.

Ich habe schon mehrere Flaschen von CamelBak (von 2014) weil diese einfach super praktisch sind und in unserem Haushalt gern genutzt werden.Ob fürs Büro, Fahrrad/Auto fahren oder zum wandern. Dank dem Henkel kann man sie auch super tragen oder mit einem Karabiner einfach an den Rucksack hängen.Da der Bedarf da ist habe ich mir nochmal 2 neue Flaschen zugelegt und bin sehr zufrieden.Sie haben ein etwas anderes Design als die ältere Version und einen minimal längeren Trinkhalm, ansonsten ist alles identisch.Da man alle die Flasche gut auseinander nehmen kann, lässt sich die Flache auch super reinigen.Sobald Kohlensäure im ist, kann es zum Auslauf der Flüssigkeit führen. Bei normalem Gebrauch mit stillem Wasser etc. kann man sich super auf die Dichtung verlassen. Hatte da noch nie Probleme.Ich benutze die Flaschen fast täglich und selbst bei den älteren Flaschen ist alles noch im guten Zustand. Das Mundstück ist trotz häufigem benutzen noch von guter Qualität. Bei Verschleiß sind Mundstück und Trinkhalme aber auch nachzukaufen und einfach auszutauschen.Werde auch in Zukunft CamelBak treu bleiben.

It leaks, but inconsistently. Very frustrating —I find wet spots in my bag or my bed. I always make sure to tighten it extremely well and flip the straw down, as well as ensure no water is in the top of the straw.Also, when the straw is flipped down there’s this weird opening (picture). When I’m hiking or near fine sand/dirt, it gets in there.Also, I wouldn’t call this a light suck to get water out of the straw. It flows out faster if you bite towards the top, but ultimately you can’t get the satisfaction of chugging water when you’re thirsty.

Stabil und einfach im Gebrauch, sowie in der Reinigung. Die Flasche lässt sich sogar mit Sprudelwasser füllen, man sollte dann jedoch nicht allzu lange mit trinken warten bzw. öfters mal die "Luft ablassen". Seit ich die Flasche habe, trinke ich nicht nur beim Sport mehr sondern auch im Alltag. Aus Gläsern trinke ich persönlich nicht so gerne bzw vergesse dann zu trinken.Absolute Kaufempfehlung zu einem fairen Preis, zumindest bei der 1 Liter Variante. Die 0,75L ist sehr viel teurer.

Wir haben jetzt fünf dieser Flaschen und sind absolut zufrieden. Die Flaschen sehen nicht nur toll aus sondern sind auch echt robust und langlebig. Sie haben eine LifeTime Garantie. Zum reinigen lassen Sie sich auch einfach auseinander nehmen. Wir tun auch immer alle Teile in die Spülmaschine und es klappt wunderbar. DieFlaschen laufen mit Getränken ohne Kohlensäure nicht aus. Kohlensäurehaltige Getränke kann man nicht in die Flasche geben da sie dann tropft. Die Flasche riecht, auch wenn sie neu ankommt, nicht nach Plastik oder Chemie. Man kann wunderbar daraus trinken.

la entrega ha sido muy rapida. El material es muy bueno y la botella hace su funcion, pero le doy 3 puntos porque nadie avisa de que la boquilla hay que morderla para que salga el agua, lo que hace es que el agua vaya directamente al interior de los dientes y si es agua muy fria da dentera, por lo menos a mi. No se si es porque no lo hago correctamente pero sale muy poca agua de la boquilla y tambien hace dificil su lavado . por otro lado la abertura para el rellenado es suficientemente grande para meter unos cubitos de hielo, alli mi molestia de tener que morder la boquilla. me hubiera gustado que hubiera sido succionando.

La uso para la oficina. Tiene el tamaño ideal de 1 litro. Yo compré la de color azul oscuro y me gusta porque es discreta en la mesa de la oficina y ves el interior, para saber cuánta agua te queda.Me gusta la boca ancha para poder limpiarla bien.La tapa con el sistema de beber es excelente. Me da seguridad en la mesa de la oficina saber que si la botella se cae, el agua no se derrama. Por otro lado, al tener la pajita no necesitas volcar la botella para beber. Así, yo suelo ponerla delante mío mientras escribo en el teclado y puedo beber si tener que coger la botella.Además, la boquilla de goma que se muerde, se desmonta fácilmente, para poder ponerla en agua con un poco de lejía de cuando en cuando y desinfectar, así como limpiar el plástico.Muy contenta con ella.

Está botella la encuentro práctica para hacer ejercicio o caminatas en las que no se exija mucho esfuerzo, dado que cuando estas cansado ni tienes fuerzas para succionar para que suba el agua por la pajita interna. He notado que llevando la botella llena con la boquilla recogida denso de la.mochila de deporte, ha salido algo de agua al apretarse la boquilla contra otros objetos de la mochila. Es por ello que si utilizo está botella, prefiero transportarla vacía. En caso de excursiones se supone que la llevas en algún bolsillo o enganche para botellas y no debería haber problema con pérdidas de agua.

Wir haben jetzt schon drei von den Camelback Eddy Flaschen und sind rundum zufrieden.Wir hatten schon so viele andere Trinkflaschen aber keine konnte mit der Eddy mithalten.Robust und super im Gebrauch.In der Spülmaschine alle Teile waschbar. Ganz leicht kann man denStrohhalm und das Trinkventil abnehmen zum reinigen bzw. spülen in der Spülmaschine .Das wichtigste, die Flasche läuft nicht aus (bei Getränken ohne Kohkensäure, mit Kohlensäure kann ich nicht beurteilen da wir das nicht trinken )750 ml Fassungsvermögen ist für uns perfekt für die Schule.Die Trinkventile haben wir nun nach ca. einem Dreiviertel Jahr ausgetauscht weil sie nach täglicher Benutzung nun langsam an nem Trinkschlitz einreißen.Jederzeit wieder kaufen wir diese Flasche .

Very happy with the design of the product. Easy to fill and add ice to if desired, and unlike many similar bottles it is very easy to disassemble and clean. Unfortunately, within six months, the locking mechanism for the lid would no longer function, meaning that the bite section would work its way open. With no way to keep it secured in the down position, it leaks like crazy.Update- After contacting the company they sent a replacement cap free of charge which arrived within 24 hours by UPS. Glad to see that they take customer satisfaction seriously. I would certainly buy one of the products again in the future.

Por el momento estoy muy satisfecho con el producto.El único detalle que considero importante es que la boquilla de plástico se ensucia muy fácilmente cuando se utilizan bebidas que no sean agua natural. Y por otro lado es la misma boquilla parece ser un elemento que más adelante se necesite reemplazar ya que para poder beber de la botella es necesario morderla.De ahí en más es una botella bonita y funcional.

Got this for our 7 year old son, as he's now outgrown the smaller 'kid' sized bottles. We tried a couple of other brands from stores locally and found they leaked on the first use so returned them and decided on this Camelbak one as it's a good brand name. Our son likes this one, it's easy for him to use and there's no spills so I'm liking it too. Doesn't leak so far, and was a reasonable price in blue. Easy to clean and simple design. The straw has dropped out a couple of times, its only a push-fit. Hopefully this was us not pushing it in firmly enough and not a design flaw.Good value, good size and decent quality. Would recommend it.
