This is a utensil set just meant for lanch and travel, so I wasn't expecting it to have a great sharp knife and a fancy fork. For what's it meant for, I think it's great! I did take 1 star off because of the below reasons.When you first open the container, it does have bamboo flakes and bamboo dust. I washed everything to get rid of the flakes and dust, which worked pretty well. Do remember to let it completely dry before you close the cap, otherwise, it's really hard to open and close when it's dent inside. I think it's just a bamboo or pressure thing. Not a big deal tho.One thing I don't really like is that it's not easy to fit everything back into the container. It would be nice to be able to drop everything in easily, but I have to put a couple of things at a time to make sure it fits perfectly.At the end of the day, it's just a temporary and travel thing, so it's pretty good. If you don't mind those small things i mention, I would recommend it!

This is great product, I use it all the time when I eat out & keep my best to use it when I know I could be using a plastic utensils. Usually I would go for other websites to buy this product but they were too pricey and not worth it. Came across this and was $15 cheaper! They also have amazing service if you text the number that is given when you receive the item. I didn’t have a pair of chopsticks and I texted to let them know and I got a whole new set! Now I have a set on me all the time! If you ever have any issue just text them, they will help out. Cleaning them in public is no problem, you may need to use the straw cleaner for your fork as sometimes foods like rice, avocados, and etc. can get stuck in-between but not a hassle. If you’re starting to become zero-waste, it is a good to have these if you starting like on the go. If not it’s just good to try your best to as environmentally friendly as possible!

So I got the package the exact day it said it'd be here (While is being Christmas season so that's quite nice) When I pulled open the bamaroo holder, all the stuff inside like spilled out and went over the floor. (I think I underestimated how much 'strength' i'd need to pull it open lol. So after picking all that up, I sat down and looked at each individual piece. Thats when I noticed that the container was sort of flaking. Long story short, flakes went everywhere. But everything looked good. Definitely wash everything, even the container before using. The straw has this weird smell... but It's for sure a woody smell... Aside from the occasional random large amounts of flakes and the container lid sometimes being complicated to get back on, I think I'm happy with the set. Still have yet to actually use them but I will for sure give them a try and if anything goes wrong, I'll update the review.

My main reason for buying this is because I do not want to use plastic cutlery. Upon washing this, I got splint. It wasn't a major injury, just an annoying sting. I started using this and it seems awkward to use, but it does what it needs to do, which is move my food from the plate to my mouth! Its very cute and keeps me from using plastic. I liked the straw too. I like the wooden case and is thin enough to add into my lunch tote or backpack, but not for a purse. I am enjoying this product for sure~

It's a great buy I love this thing, I had plastic reusable but I would end up losing them and I would feel bad about adding more plastic to the world.The only thing I dislike it that the fork is very thick and can't poke through food like salad to pick up. Also the fork is difficult to clean between spokes.The size of these are like the size of normal cutlery so I really like that.

I HATE using plasticware. I have evolved enough as a species to NOT debase myself with eating Chinese take-out with plasticware. So when I am on business travel, I usually bring my own silverware. Alas, it got confiscated at the airport, so now I was scrambling to figure a way out of plasticware hell. After some Amazoning (and some drinking) I found these bamboo-ware tools. I like em, and will re-buy if (let's be honest: "when") I lose em.

I love everthing but the straw. I used the straw once and I can't get the flavor of coffee out. My mistake for drinking coffee from it but it's a straw I thought it'd be fine. I haven't been able to use it since. I love the spoon and fork! Super easy to clean and use. I love that im helping the environment one plastic spoon/fork at a time

Overall, the product is well made, but there's some odd odor that hasn't really dissipated over time.
