For the price I paid it does a good jobI just wish it was a bit brighter, and it gets really hot on the ring light, like, not painful, but after it's been running for a while it gets a LOT hotter than I expected it to.I'm also now kind of wishing it had a back cover on it so to prevent fires.I also kind of wish that it was 8x or 10x, now that I can see what 5x is like. It's fine for working on miniatures, I just expected more. What's nice is the glass is exactly as big as I wanted, about slightly more than 4". 5" would be nice, but at least it's way better than some alternatives with a tiny 3-4" magnifier

Everything about the lamp is right, but the lights buzz. If you're using this for arts or crafts the buzzing will get on your nerves quickly.

Seller stands behind their product 100%. I ordered the smaller one and it had and issue where it won’t turn off without unplugging it. The seller was gracious enough to send me another unit and it was the one with the longer arm too. This one is excellent and just what I was looking for. It helps me with my crafts because I’m almost 50 and my eyes suck pretty bad now.

The light color options, brightness, table clamp and ease to adjust the position...all very good to excellent...the lack of power source other than the end of a usb cable... not a good surprise. I had to take a phone charger out of use so I could use it for the lamp. Where is this in the product description?

Cuando entré a Amazon, estaba buscando algo que me permitiera trabajar con manualidades. Soy mayor y ya mis ojos no me ayudan mucho. Vi lentes de joyero, pero al final me decidí por ésta lupa. Excelente elección.Buena iluminación. Permite trabajar con las dos manos y me puedo levantar sin tener que estarme quitando lo que tengo en la cabeza. Es muy cómoda.Elegí la del brazo corto y aunque para mí está perfecta, recomendaría pensar este aspecto antes de elegir porque tal vez prefieras un brazo más largoAltamente recomendada

First off the instructions say it's compatible with horizontal placement but it's not because it's missing the threaded set screw for the horizontal mounting. They went out of their way to install both arm bushing and all but just never drilled the hole for the set screw, however that really doesn't matter because the arm springs are not strong enough to suspend it place when hanging from above. The last frustrating bit is that the color change switch is way too far down the cord which makes it obnoxious to use. It should be by the base of the light not a few feet away. Because of this you need to dangle your cord all around the desk and you can't tuck it away or anything. Would I get it again? No I would buy something that can hold it's own weight, has proper mounting and controls. With that said the magnifying part does work so I gave it 2 stars.

Perfect lighting, white, semi-white, and natural light in dimmable brightness. Magnifying lens is nice and big. Best of all this light is so light weight I was able to use it on one of the TV tray / snack tables. Eventually, I will add it to my desk, I will drill a hole in my desk and use a black washer to make the hole unnoticeable.

Can use as light for webcam as well. Not very versatile in how it can be oriented or the wing nuts holding the arms solidly of hyperextended.Light is adjustable as mentioned.Otherwise worthwhile.
