I have numerous pairs of slip joint pliers in the house and garage, and this one ranks quite highly on my list. The fit and finish are excellent, and the tool feels good in the hand. Instead of buying the cheapest possible pliers, just spend (literally) a couple dollars more and buy these.

These are good little basic pliers for household use. They likely wouldn't stand up to heavy use, but for the money, they're perfectly good for occasional use. They're the sort of thing that you hope to find when you just HAVE to turn something that's too snug for your doing it by hand and go digging through your "junk drawer" in need of a bit of assistance - good utility for the price.

I use these a lot - I have to mix up salt water from my aquarium and each time I used the RO/DI device to purify the water I have to hook a hose to my kitchen sink. That takes a special adaptor which I'm switching on and off frequently - and this does the trick. After my dear husband passed away I let the kids take what they wanted - keeping a basic tool set for myself - I guess the pliers disappeared while sorting and moving out so I bought these. They look and work exactly like my old ones - just a basic set of pliers with metal that's probably a little on the soft/cheap side but work for all my projects so far.

then the pictures would have you believe. Sometimes you need a smaller set of pliers, these are great for those times, if you need something bigger, look for something that says 8" or more.

Excellent pliers to have in the kitchen. I use them more than I thought I would. They save cut fingers, metal slivers, broken fingernails, etc. I even use them to crush my dog's large heartworm medication tablets so I can add them to his food. Since I use them in the kitchen I was worried about rust, but that has not been an issue -- up to now, at least. If that changes, I will update this review.

I love my pliers, I keep them in my kitchen. I don't have the strength in my fingers like I use too.So my pliers sure come in handy to help me pull the tabs off certain containers. They come in handyfor so many other things too. I was using a pair of pliers, that was so old and rusty that I keptthem out of sight. But now I keep them on my kitchen counter, the green blends in with my kitchen colortheme. Thank you so much!

This is a very handy product for any small household work, such as, opening the plastic screw of the toilet flush handle. It is a very compact and sturdy plier, fits perfectly in one’s hand. Highly recommended at under $10!
