Used to replace broken parts, fit exactly where the old slider had been!
I have a very old little chest from my Mom that was probably purchased at Scandanavian Designs. The drawers got misaligned and the ball bearings all dropped out. After not being able to figure out how to fix gave up. Then Amazon came through with this solution. Fit exactly! After reading one of the reviews and all the work they had to put into installing I was worried. It was one of the easiest things I have ever done. I was able to use existing holes and even able to use the screws from the old sliders.

Works for Ikea Aneboda draws, with modification
First, you get 1 pair of slides, not 10 pairs as described. In the fine print it says 1 pair. These part that goes on the cabinet are longer than the original Ikea slides (the draw side fits fine), maybe they will last longer. They do lack the tabs that hold the slide straight in the cabinet, and screw hole to attach to the furniture. I will try and describe how I installed, it may look like a lot, but it is easy, simple on the 2nd slide.MARK THE FRONT AND BACK OF THE NEW SLIDES - the wider side of the slide has 2 holes (for the drawer screw) with an arrow pointing to the front. You need to remove the old slide(s) - save the screws.Make sure the sides slide are evenly together. Hold the slide in its general location, (make front and back slightly away from back and front of chassis), and mark as close as you can (use a black sharpie) the location of where the screw was (108462 or 100365) that you took out. Center punch this location on either of the sides of the slide (i used a small piece of wood to keep the slide from bending). Making sure the "black plastic insert" is not in the way, drill through both sides of the slide with a small drill bit. Open the slide, and enlarge hole on the narrower side of the slide so the screw 108462 100365 fits. enlarge the wider side hole so you can get a screwdriver in to turn the screw. Put the screw into the smaller side (with the head between the side of slide), close the slide, and tighten the screw into the hole.Use a combination square or speed square under the slide, and with a clamp hold the square in place so the slide is level. Double Check. Using the screws included with this slide, install a screw into the front and back of the slide using the predrilled holes on the narrow side of the slide (you will need to move the slide back and forth until you have an access hole).Put the drawer on the slides, and pull the slide to the front of the drawer, and push back a little(about 1/8 inch - wiggle room) Using a small bit (I used 1.5mm) drill a hole into the drawer using 1 of the 2 holes (near the arrow) - drill straight in. Now push the slide back a little more, and enlarge the hole in the draw to a little over 4MM (the screw is a 4mm screw), make the screw goes in easily. get rid of any bumps created by the hole, and clear out sawdust. position the slide so you can see through the hole in slide and drawer, and insert/tighten screw from the inside of the drawer. [Note if you are missing drawer screws, you can pick them up at the hardware store, they are M4 length=8mm, or 10mm will give you a handhold on the screw as you insert it into the drawer and line it up with the slide.I used: drill, bits, square (speed or combo), clamp screwdriver, bits.Like I said, it looks like a lot, but I tried to provide details so you won't be confused.

Used for a desk pull out drawer/tray
I used this for a desk pull out keyboard tray. It was the right height, less than an inch. I gave it 4 stars because it didn't come with any directions and if you looked at the answers from the seller and even a picture in the product description, none help.I had to install them a little backwards, the smaller glider I installed on the keyboard tray and the larger glider I installer to the desk walls. I driller holes first using a 3/32 drill bit and only went in a little, length of screw, and put tape on my drill bit so it wouldn't go to far in.I had to screw in one screw on the outer glider, then slide my tray, do a screw on the tray, then remove this Tony piece of wood my desk wall had at the back of the previous glider, so I could put in the rest of the screws on the outer glider. Then have my son hold the tray up while I put the last screws on the tray.It overall took some thinking.I am overall happy, glad my desk it fixed. My original glider broke. I would lean too much on it thinking it would last forever. Now I won't.The glider came with a bunch of bigger screws and 4 smaller screws. I never used the smaller ones.

great replacement, work as described
After a number of years, the slides on my dresser finally gave out. These were a perfect replacement since I needed ones that fit in a channel. A number of people in the comments have issues with the rails not coming apart or being difficult to install. That was not the case for me and the rails installed with no problem just like the OEM ones. The people who wrote negative reviews are just bad at DIY. It's okay to say you suck at home improvement or working with tools. You don't have to hate on the product for your shortcomings.Either way, for 6 sets of rails they are a great value. They are not soft close or any other fancy mechanism. I just needed something that would function like the original and let me eke out a few more years with this dresser.

Just what I needed for some 'vintage furniture'
FIRST - I'd like to thank earlier reviewers who identified this as a replacement part for Scandinavian Design products (a store, not a type of furnishing). Fit perfectly (a proviso follows). Easy to install. Significantly better than the original (even when brand new).GOTCHA alert for intrepid furniture fixers: I own two identical dressers purchased from 'Scandinavian' on the same day (probably in the late 80's or early 90's). A drawer guide on one had totally failed, but several drawers were pretty rough across the pair of dressers. I purchased a 'six pack' of guides/glides based on measures of the unit that had failed (15.7"). Although, I was able to make everything work, I found that the two dressers were not 'structurally' identical - attachment points for the guides varied by about 2 inches! I needed to drill a 'short' hole to mount on one dresser and was barely able to span the supports on the other by using the front/rear 'stops' for screw holes. Henry Ford did not set up the factories for this type of furniture. If you have more than one piece, measure BOTH before you order.
