Caseology Skyfall Clear Phone Case for iPhone 11 Cases (2019) - Lavender

I had a similar all black case for my iPhone 8. Not the same brand as this & not as lightweight. It was only $10 & also didn’t have a cover for the screen. I’d love to know the average number of drops per day because my husband thinks I’m remarkably klutzy. I read in bed & often fall asleep dropping it from mattress height to the carpet. I haven’t any evidence that the phone was ever damaged in any way by these drops or even infrequent more serious drops to garage floors or parking lots. I was always worried about the screen which hasn’t protection. Not even a smudge from any of these drops.Therefore, when his phone’s battery died & he took the iPhone 8 while I upgraded to an iPhone 11, I looked for a similarly designed “cheap” protective case. My new phone is lavender & I didn’t want to cover it with a black case again plus that case made the 8 thicker & I always had difficulty using it for phone calls. I constantly bumped my high cheek bones causing annoying beeps to intersperse the call & even disconnect. This case is more slender, fits my hand perfectly & ive yet to bump my cheekbone with it. I like this “plastic-like” material considerably more than the older more rubbery case. This one holds the phone tightly. Once on, it’s not so easy to remove.When I saw this clear lavender tinted Caseology case that claims to be made of a military strength composite material for $13, I didn’t even weigh options. I knew the screen would again be exposed, but the sides & corners are protected which seem most important for me. It’s lighter weight than the older black one & the pretty phone color is visible. I’ve dropped it once while sleeping, but it’s taken more serious falls when I’ve missed my pocket & has hit the pavement or basement floor. The plastic appearing case hasn’t scratched Or lost color; there’s no apparent damage to the phone. Many years ago I bought the expensive Otter for my first iPhone. It was large, clunky & I broke several finger nails anytime I tried to pry the 2 separate “cages” apart. They are made differently now, but I never see anyone using anything that looks much different from my new case.My phone definitely requires protection for its edges & corners from potential catastrophic damage due to my klutzy drops. I did manage to carry my new for for over a week without dropping it, but my history is “klutzy”. I m puzzled about another review regarding paint chipping. There is no paint I can see on this case. It is faintly tinted lavender allowing the color of my phone to show. The tinting is part of the case; I would call it translucent. Whatever this high tech material is that breaks the bank at $13 seems to be sufficient to do the job. I can’t speak to screen damage. We all know our individual bad habits & if yours include prior screen damage, which can break the phone entirely, then maybe you need an Otter cage. Otherwise, these high tech lightweight inexpensive cases barely larger than the phones have served me very well. I can’t justify the expense of anything more than this.

i am so pleasantly surprised by the quality of this case. i purchased the lavender for my iphone 11 & it fits like a glove (it is difficult to remove, so if you take your case off often i don’t recommend) & looks so great on the white iphone. it is thick & provides great protection without being too big or bulky. it fits with a screen protector on & does not inhibit the lock button, volume button, or speakers AND it has a lip around the camera for added protection. it also doesn’t show finger prints on the back like other clear cases i’ve had, which i’m grateful for. too soon to tell if the clear will eventually become discolored, but so far so good. i saw a few other mention that this case is slippery, but i don’t find that to be true at all, it is very grippable. at this price point, i don’t think you could find a better case & quite frankly, it even beats a lot of the more expensive cases. also works with wireless charging!!!

So far so good! I’ve had this case for about 2 months now and so far my phone is in good shape as well as the case. A few MINOR scratches on the corner bumpers but otherwise great. The clear back hasn’t yellowed and doesn’t show signs of scratches. The lip is raised just enough to protect the phone but not too much that it feels bulky. Very snug fit which I like. The case does cover the volume and lock buttons but does not make them stiff like some other cases. I used to be someone who likes to change their phone case all the time but I love how simple and solid this one looks and feels. Plus the price ain’t so bad either!

I usually spend 30 - 40 dollars on a case to make sure I get good quality & so my phones have no scratches, knicks, or cracks when I refurbish them for the next person (I ❤️ recycling) but I bought this in a hurry just to make sure I had something when my new iPhone arrived. I was shocked that a product that was a little over $10 has the same quality and cuteness of the expensive cases. I only expected to use it until I got a better case, but it’s so durable, sleek, and easily removable for cleaning that I’m sticking with it. VERY NICE!!

I purchased this case for my iPhone 11 in white and I think that they rose gold bumper contents white very well. The case was easy to put on and feels pretty secure, buttons are protected and way to press. The cuts around the camera, speaker, and charger port are precisely cut as well. I just changed my white to the iPhone 11 in purple though and the rose gold doesn’t blend together very well compared to the white, so I wouldn’t recommend purchasing if you have a purple iPhone (unless you like that combo). The only reason why I’m taking off one star is because the rose gold bumper post scratchers way too easily. I handle my phones very delicately, but after only a couple of days, there’s scratches all around the bumper. It is also a hard case too and the backing has yes to lose its clear color.

I’m impressed! I’ve had the case for about a week with no screen cover on my iPhone, simply because I’m not good enough to install one perfectly on my own. I’ve dropped my brand new phone at least 4 times since getting the case, twice from at least 3 feet and my phone has remained unscathed, such a relief! I will probably need to replace the case for a stronger one with my level of clumbsiness however, but I do plan to keep this one for a while. if you’re not a clutz, this is great value for your money. It doesn’t increase the size of the phone too much to where it’s uncomfortable, the design is simple and sleek, and the phone does feel protected.

This is the only brand of case I buy for my phones. They’re attractive and durable and saved my phone on plenty of occasions since I’m somewhat clumsy and have a tendency, unfortunately, to drop it quite a bit. It’s a tight fit and a little tough to remove if you aren’t pretty strong, but still won’t buy another brand

It has a lip on the edge to protect the front screen of the phone. I have had this for a few months with no cracks to my case or phone.

The media could not be loaded.  My phone case got pretty scuffed and scratched up after over a year of use. The rose gold detail scratches off with time, and the clear part of the phone case gets scratches as well. I like how, even after over a year of use I didn’t notice any significant yellowing of the clear part of the case. Additionally, the outer edge of the case has a protective bumper and has saved my phone after many fumbles.Highly recommend this phone case if you’re looking for something protective and minimalist.

Super goes hoesje. Beschermt erg goed en is erg stevig. Kleur is precies zoals aangegeven. Wat moeilijk om de telefoon er weer uit te halen, maar daarnaast een echte aanrader!
