I purchased this project for our cat Galadriel who always seemed to be cold and seeking heat. Unfortunately, she passed away before I could introduce her to this blanket. In honor of her memory, I donated both blankets I had purchased to our local animal shelter and, after inquiry, I'm told that the fur babies love their new blankets and it helps keep them warm and comfortable, which can be especially challenging in a kennel environment. It's especially helpful for kittens who need extra warmth. Sad purchase turned into joyful memory of giving.

My cat loves this!!! Okay i was skeptical at first. I read reviews where people said it smelled or it made a loud crinkling noise. None of this was true. No smell. No noise. I unboxed it, laid it on the bed and she literally jumped right on it and didnt move for 3 hrs! Shes 12. She needs the warmth. Im buying another one. I will put it in the other room. I love it and more importantly she loves it. People mention cleaning it is an issue. Just roll a lint roller over it and febreeze it. Your cat shouldnt be using the bathroom on it. Im not sure how its getting dirty!Purchasing it again. I love it.

My dog Boo is a nester. In his pursuit of making himself the nestiest of nests...he's shredded some very nice (and expensive) sheets and quilts. He did have a nice warm fuzzy blanket...but my youngest kept stealing it every time I washed it...so I decided to get him a new blanket...which is how we ended up here...writing a review.I can't speak to the longevity of this blanket. I'm not a fan of the stitching around the edges. It's the kind known to fall apart after a few washes. It has some weird crinkly layer inside it...which hopefully deters my youngest from stealing it. I also wasn't too keen on spending $20-ish for a dog blanket...even for the Boo who deserves all that and way more...after all we are in the midst of a global pandemic and I recently lost my job.Sometimes...however...what matters to me is not what matters to the receiver of a gift...in this instance...The Boo.What I can speak to...for us both...is that this blanket is 100% Boo approved. He abso-freakin'-lutely LOVES this blanket. It's warm and snuggly...just like the Boo. I no longer worry about him shredding my bedding. Gone are the nights of Pirate Boo stealing my blanket as I sleep (or before I even get into bed). I just put his blanket on top and he uses the claw claws on his paw paws to nestie this blankie into the nestiest of Boo nests before barnacling himself to my side for snuggles and cuddles...ultimately making this blanket a gift for us both.If your dog is a nester and/or a pirate like the Boo...just get this blanket. Your dog (and your bedding) will thank you for it ❤️

UPDATE: This was not a passing fad for my Elmo. He happily snuggled up on this pad all last winter. He is very expressive and acts more like a dog that a cat a lot of the time. If he felt like being cuddly he would pull his pad over to the couch and look pointedly at it, and then the couch so that we’d put it on the couch for him. If I had any doubt that it reflected heat back to him those doubts were alleviated when the temperatures warmed up. As soon as spring hit he started ignoring the pad and pushed it out of the way so he could lay on the wood floor by his box of catnip toys. I stored it under the entertainment center and pulled it out as soon as fall hit. He started laying on it a week ago, all cuddly and cute as a button 😍 At this price, I am going to but a couple more to scatter around the house so he always has a warm place to rest his old bones.I was hesitant to buy something else for my picky 11 year old cat to lay on/in because he seems to prefer boxes, old duffle bags, and nothing at all. However, he is getting arthritis in one of his paws and I wanted something to help heat up his old bones if he was so inclined. I am SO HAPPY I took a chance because he LOVES this! He is hesitant to try new things unless there is catnip involved so I sprinkled it with catnip so he would get on it. Once he felt the warmth being reflected back at him, he was hooked. I was worried the crinkle would upset him, but it’s very subtle and he doesn’t seem to mind it at all. He is a BIG boy (healthy weight of 18lbs...so more the size of a small dog) and he has room to stretch out.

I got this product after looking at similar items and reading other reviews and price. I went with this one .and got the brown color.I was looking for something that would help keep my 50 lbs senior 13 yr old pig warm as she is susceptible to colds and did not want to run heater when we were not home. Also when we take her to certain events in her wagon she needed some warmth. Product does what it says it reflects the body heat . I put it on top of her dog bed and in combination with her other blankets she snuggles in it does give her the extra warmth I was looking for. (This would probably not help a sick animal that is not producing any body heat. )I will say at some of the outdoor events using this she was warmer than me. I am very happy with it and am thinking of getting the bigger one for me to use. My friend also saw the results and is looking into it for her dogs.

I love that soft touch , now what my cat is thinking about it , she don't care never smell it or touch it and look at it , what will happen next , the cat still continue to used the bed , i will used the cat's blanket and sleep like a baby and i will have an happy wife she will get the entire bed with the cat , happy family here , thank's . i plan to divorce

This product is the only thing our ungrateful cat will use. We have bought her a cat tree, a regular cat bed, and countless toys. We’ve spent hundreds on this cat and she won’t even pretend to like what we buy for her.But she loves this bed.Finally we’ve found something she’s use, and we can stop spending money trying to please her. If something ever happens to this bed, I’ll have no issues buying another one. Besides that, she can stick to using paper bags and fallen potatoes peels as toys since those seem to be her favourite.- We haven’t had to wash it yet, but I can’t see that being an issue- It’s soft- It’s kinda thin, but our cat doesn’t like big, fluffy beds- It’s a good size. It would work well for small dog breeds like Shih Tzus too.- We’ve tested it ourselves, and we do feel the warming effects of it

I bought this for my sixteen-year old cat who has arthritis. She's about16 lbs. and the small size (17 x 22") is just right for her. Basically it is a fake-fur mat with some core insulation (like the foil-like substance EMS workers wrap people in). When you push on it, there is slight crunching sound. My cat has rejected all other cat beds. I put this on the sofa and she investigated. As soon as she figured out that it warmed up, she was hooked. Not sure how long it will last since washing it will be dicey (cover does not remove), but she loves it. The "cream" color is more tan or camel than cream.

My cat seems to love this heating pad! Obviously I tried it out myself and it worked well - I recommend for pets and people! Think ice fishing, or sitting outside in general when cold... and it’s washable!! And seems to warm up instantly! :)Cat is about 9-10 lbs for scale :)

I can't explain it but we have this out in our hallway and our cat loves sleeping on it. He sleeps on it every night despite having several different options including our bed. He actually liked it so much we bought him another one to put in his cat tree downstairs as well. I honestly don't know what it is about the mat as it seems quite normal. Highly recommend you try this with your cats. Odds are they will love it!
