simple is best
i have been using this for about a month and i like it. i alternate with dove once in awhile. this does seem to keep my skin clearer than other cleansers. as i have aged, i have found the best thing for skin is keeping it simple, gentle soap, sunscreen, retin a , ( once a week), and heavy night cream at least 3 times a week. no toners serums or other nonsense. aging is no fun, and you can't beat it entirely, but good skin care and sunscreen will help you look great for your age. this soap is a great part of my simple skincare routine. not too drying.

Makes me Feel I'm Doing a Good Thing
I don't know if this helps my face but I feel as if I'm doing something good because the instructions tell me I am. My face feels soft after I use it but that's because I don't stroke my face except after I've used this. Buy it and try it. Anything that makes us feel as if we're doing the right thing can't be a bad thing.

HG face wash
this is the only face wash that doesnt seem to irritate my skin. however, it is a bit drying, so you may need a heavier moisturizer. i do feel like it refines pores. every once in a while my skin gets a little itchy if i leave it on too long, but i think thats just me, like if i already have a break out. it also makes my pores seem clearer.

The Product Rocks and Smells Good Too!
This product is now part of my daily routine. You lather it up and rub it on your face Keep lathering until you can actually see it on your face. Let it dry for about 4-5 min (while you're prepping for your shower or bath) - then rinse really well. I was totally surprised by the scent which is really nice and certainly gets you going in the right direction for the day. I'm hooked.

This is an absolutely wonderful soap. My father bought it for me and it is really perfect for my skin (combination skin in a humid climate). I used it almost every night and it leaves my skin feeling soft and clean. Best to moisturize with a light cream afterwards if you have dry skin. A great buy!
