I love these for quick doodle that I want to watercolor with. The ink is waterproof if you let is sit for awhile, but actually it dries fairly fast, less than a few minutes. I appreciate that it doesn't smear and isn't too inky and flowy...just right.

No substitute for a good gel pen.
Terrible pens, creates too much friction on paper, not smooth, cheap feeling tube, expels blobs of ink. I saw these recommended on social media so I gave them a try. Instant regret. Immediate no.
