Excellently made & waterproof
Paired this with our Alps Taurus 6person tent after getting tired of using cheap tarps. More compact and lightweight in contrast to Wally world tarp. Only used twice this season so far, but it did rain heavily for one day and night during the course of its limited use and held up just fine. Very happy with this brands quality.

Good purchase
I needed a ground cloth/footprint for a 3-person tent in a hurry and, based on its measurements and my immediate need, I chose this footprint. The item performed well during my week-long camping trip. I like the ability to stake-down the corners with the light stakes provided (didn't have this with my previous footprint), and on the several rainy days and nights during my trip, the footprint kept the moisture from working into the floor of my tent. So, based on a first use, the item gets my five stars. Hard to say, however, how the footprint will hold up over the years, but so far, so good.

Great Teant Footprint
I own several of the ALPS mountaineering footprints. They are well constructed and provide great protection to the bottom of the tent. The corners have grommets that help secure the footprint to the tent. The footprint has string stitching. I have used these footprints for years and I highly recommend the product.

Measurements
We're impressed with this "floor saver" so far. It will be a few weeks before we actually use it with our new Alps 4person tent . Took it out of the stuff sack tonight to check it out. It measured 96.5" L x 83.5" W and hopefully willbe a perfect fit for our new tent. We measured the thickness at 4 mils (0.004"). Our really cheap HF tarp is just over5 mils. The Tyvek ground cover or "floor saver" we used on our old tent is 7 mils thick. I read all the reviews regarding how this "floor saver" is a little thin but proceeded with the purchase anyway. The cost vs. time spent finding a cheaper or thicker alternative was a "no brainer" for us. We've been down that path many times over the last 20+ years and were never happy with the cheaper alternatives. Only giving it 4 stars for now since we haven't actually used it with our new tent yet. No problem putting it back in the provided sack after checking it out.Update: We did a test fit with our Alps Mountaineering Taurus 4 Outfitter tent today. Good fit, extended right to edge of our tent.07/05/19 Update: Happy with our purchase. We used the "floor saver" for the first time today camping for 4 days.Adding another star...

good balance of weight & durability
I've seen ultralight tent footprints tear, & I've lugged around full tarps. This is a really nice balance of lightweight and durable. Taken out so far on a couple trips on hard & rocky ground. I haven't been rained on yet, but I can see the waterproof nature when I give it a post trip hose-down.

Five Stars
UPDATED 3/27/2017: So I went camping with this tent floor saver along with ALPS Mountaineering's 2-person Taurus tent, in Texas's Big Bend National Park, for 9 days. We stayed in the Chiso Basin campground which is actually VERY rocky. No grassy campground. I did what I can to clear off the big rocks but since the ground is LITERALLY made up of sand and rock, it's impossible to get rid of them all. However, the floor saver functioned perfectly. I HAD brought one of them blue tarps but a fellow camper forgot her floor saver so I lent her my tarp and just had this floor saver and tent instead. Through 7 days of camping (the last 2 days we moved to a different campground to get some grass and shade...), this floor saver kept anything from poking through the floor of my tent. I had laid a suit case, a duffel bag, my backpack, sleeping mat, boots, etc. in the tent, and had also dragged the suit case around a bit as necessary. Came home, laid out the floor saver for inspection and was expecting some wear and tear...but NOTHING! No holes. No punctures. All it needed was a wipe down with a towel and some diluted isopropyl alcohol (it was very dusty at the campsite) and it looked good as new! I am very happy with this floor saver and it did a great job!Great floor protection that goes under your tent, especially considering it is many-folds cheaper than the tent itself!

Great Addition to Alps Camp Creek 6
I bought the six-person sized floor saver to use with an Alps Camp Creek 6. Size seems perfect. It's slightly smaller than bottom of tent, providing protection without sticking out and potentially serving as a way for water to pool under the tent floor. The corner straps have multiple connection points, the closest of which is an exact fit to line up with the tent's corner stake down strap. When stuffed into bag, it's still compact enough to fit into the tent bag. It was a little spendy at ~$50, but will hopefully prolong the life of my tent floor enough to justify.
