Well, I still have my fingers, so it must work.
As far as metal fan grilles go, this one works nicely. I have a high speed CFM machined metal nidec-torin fan behind this and it obliterates pepperami when you feed it. I'm pleased to say that this fan grille works well at preventing appendage loss (and the resulting arguments).Happy customer!
