This "professional leggings purchaser" has finally found the perfect pants ((SEE CRAPPY UPDATE))
AS OF DEC 2019 -- If you've ordered these before, the product page will look the same to you, but you'll notice they're no longer using Prime shipping. I ordered 4 more pair anyway, which took about a month to arrive. Then what I received were a lousy knock-off. The fabric is thinner, the cut is smaller, the fit is different, they pinch uncomfortably at the knees, and they aren't even being made by or sold by Anekaant anymore (there's no brand tag on the pants). You won't know this until you place the order but they're now sold by VictoryZ, whose only reply to my concerns was, "We sincerely apologise for the inconvenience caused," and after Amazon wrote them they didn't reply at all. Amazon was great and refunded my order, but BUYER BEWARE, these ARE NOT the same pants as before. And now I have to find a new supplier of thick, long, high-waisted, not-skin-tight, no saggy crotch leggings. Arghhhhh!ORIGINAL 5- STAR REVIEW -- I am a woman whose height, waist, and hip sizes are all supposedly "average," and yet leggings have never fit right. The crotches always sagged, the back waistband pulled down towards my butt when I bent over, and the legs were maddeningly too short. I'm 5'5" so length should never have been an issue. Then I found churidar at a local Indian boutique. They still fit weirdly, but I knew I was onto something with the leg length, so I started searching online. As you, by now, could probably guess, I wear leggings most every day, so getting some that fit right has been a hassle for YEARS. Like, since the early '90s.I decided to take a gamble on these because of the good reviews and the low price. And I'm so glad I did! I first got them 2 years ago, and while I did have to patch the inside upper thighs recently, these churidar have held up. I'm now about to order a third pair that I'm cutting to capri length. The rest of the leggings fit my body so well that I'd rather do that than to have to search for yet another pair. There is a weird seam across the tops of the legs that I cannot figure out why it's there, but I'm guessing it has to do with laying out the pattern to cut them to save fabric. I'm okay with that. The abdomen and hips are a little loose, but I wear long tunics and short dresses with them, and actually find it makes the pants more comfortable, they don't squeeze my hips. They're high-waisted, but this also means the back waistband doesn't pull down to my underpants when I bend over. The crotch stays where it is supposed to go. And the long length means not only do they not rise up above my ankles, but I love surplus, and having the fabric bunch up at the ankles is pretty, especially over my Docs. The black is nice and inky dark, and doesn't show skin through the fabric when you bend your knees. The legs are so long that you can pull up the pants a bit to make them looser at the knees so you don't bust a seam or stretch out a knee-cap shaped bulge on the front of your legs. They come with a drawstring at the waist, but I pulled it out, as I found it unnecessary.I even made a rub-off pattern of the pants so I could make another pair myself, but decided that my time alone is worth more than their ~$15 price, much less the cost of the right cotton/spandex blend fabric and wide elastic.I can't believe I've written this much about cotton knit pants, but they really are the best leggings I've ever bought.

Just as Advertised
The people who give bad reviews because they didn't read the description frustrate me. These pants are exactly as advertised. The fabric is soft and just the right weight, not too thick as to be hot, and not so thin that skin shows through where stretched. They are comfortable and don't have a lot of extra fabric around the belly (I'm usually a US size 6-8). They do have a chemical odor typical of new clothing that washes out after one or two washes and I wouldn't wear them before washing.

love these so much
OMG I'M IN LOVE ... these are cotton (which is a major plus to start with) super long (remember these are not leggings) and so very comfortable. These are not "tummy control" which is what I wantedThese are amazing and even have a drawstring cord so if you want them looser you can order a size up and cinch them (or cinch them as you loose weight (which i'm doing)These are a true black and very flattering - I really like these and will be getting more in more colors! -- and because i'm nice i'm 5'8" and wear a size 6 (the shirt is also from amazon)

Happy with this purchase.
I was a bit worried when the waist size range described was 28 to 52. It is a snug fit but the material is very stretchy and very comfy around the waist. My waist is 45 inches just to give an idea to any one else that is a plus size and is looking for a good churidar to wear. The colour was a nice maroon as well.I don't know about the durability as yet as i don't wear this often but so far so good.

Chuck your stretch pants, live for Chudidars!
These are simply awesome pants. Wear these with any of the high low or tunic styles that are everywhere these days and live in total COMFORT. Stop wearing yoga pants as pants and wear actual pants that feel like pajamas but still look cool. I mean, I'm like where have these been my whole life? Nothing is cutting off circulation in my stomach and my hips aren't screaming in elasticized pain and still they are just slim enough on the thighs and tight around the calf to make an interesting look. Plus they are SUPER affordable. Only gave 4 stars tho because the color has faded already after less than 10 wears. For the price point, it's totally ok though.

Chudidar = leggings + granny panties
Really different from regular leggings, but in my opinion far better. They are not suitable if you wear super tight tops, as the part around the waist is, er, somewhat strange. Basically, the design is a fusion of granny panties and leggings. What I mean by this is that the leggings go up above the belly button and also have a seam before it hits the thigh. This sounds weird but is actually really comfortable and perfect for tunic tops. There is also extra fabric in the leg area which is meant to be bunched up once they are put on, as seen in the photos. Material wise they are nice, too. These are quite stretchy and soft. I like how they are at least part cotton! Strange design, but I find myself ordering more.

Great for "plus size"
I wear a size 16 in pants, I have thick calves. My hips are 46 in. and waist 38. I'm 67 in. tall. these fit great and are good quality. They are lightweight and don't make me sweat. They went well under a split maxi skirt. They even smelled good like incense when i opened the package.

These are excellent for the price
I am 6 ft, US 36 inseam, and wear a 14/16. I got the Xlarge with some reservations due to mixed reviews. Well, I put them on and am impressed with the feel, quality, and length. This is the first time I have gotten (OK< not leggings) these types of pants and had them bunch around the lower leg/ankle. Tall leggings do not do this on me. These are excellent for the price. Heck, I would pay more for pants to fit like this on my body. The only downside is that because I'm tall I need a longer waist so these pull down a bit in the back... But, these are not made for tall women and I knew that when I made the purchase so no stars taken off for sizing. Just absolutely beautiful, beyond legging pants. I will be ordering more colors!
