SQUARE D 30-50 FSG2 (9013FSG2J21) Water Well Submersible Pump Pressure Switch

There is one difference with this switch when compared to the original which is that there is no on-and-off arm, but the unit seems to work fine without it. I'm not sure why they got rid of that switch though I always found the metal arm hard to use and activate.Note that I have posted a video above showing some details about the switch. I may buy another just to have a back up as it seems to be running great and solving our problems.

This is a high quality, Pressure switch for 30/50 operation. Installation is easy onto a 1/4 inch fitting. No need for a lever to start as it is automatic. Easy access for wire installation. Electric diagram under the cover as well. Cuts right in and out as specified. Great value.

Water pressure kept dropping randomly.Replaced this switch.Last one lasted 25 so here to 25 more.

I hate to write a bad review for what may be a good product, but the screws for the wire lugs are so tight, you can't loosen without damaging the screw head and the lug connection. You have to push hard enough on the screw to get the screwdriver to bite that it bends the lug. The metal used in the screws is so soft that is "strips" when you try to put enough torque on the screwdriver to loosen the lug. The first switch I tried still have one screw that won't come loose and the screw head is stripped. So, that one is trash and a wasted $35.

This was supposed to be set for 30psi on 50 psi off and it wasn't. I had to spend a good hour adjusting it to work correctly with my pressure tank psi. Made a simple install take alittle longer but its done and works well.
