I bought this after damaging two colanders from trying to steam vegetables on the stove. I was hesitant because I’ve never heard of this name brand and was worried it would be DOA or not work at all.I have used this machine twice only to steam vegetables and it’s been great! I first steamed green beans and baby carrots and was very happy with the results. I just steamed some rainbow cauliflower, baby carrots, and green beans and it’s pretty tender. I love how there are two tiers so you can steam two different items at once. I have not tried to steam meat or eggs so I can’t give feedback on this. The machine is also very easy to clean.Overall I am very satisfied with this purchase, it steams my vegetables with ease, it’s small enough to fit in my appliance cabinet but big enough to steam several different vegetables at once. Definitely worth the $23 instead of paying nearly the same for a good quality metal colander.

I paid about $26 total for this device. I bought it for my mom and it does what it needs to do. The packaging is deceptively small and scared me a little but there's ample cooking space regardless. I wish it came with a guide as to what veggies need what cooking time, with the product you only get a range near the timer dial. To the point, and for what was tested, steaming veggies it works just fine. You get what you pay for, the containers are really thin and not glass, the heating element takes a bit and the base is also plastic. There are more expensive options that will last longer, but in the $100+ range. 2 uses so far and w/o a hitch, (mixed veggies and a serving of sparagus @30 min cooked fine).

Excellent steamer but when steaming vegetables do it with less 5 minutes of recommended instructions. It works great for fish & chicken. Best thing about it requires a small place to to store.

We have a really small family and use this to steam our veggies. I really appreciate the size and how easy it is to clean The plastic container looks like it may Break in the next year But that's what you get for the price.

I love this steamer! I should have bought it years ago. It works like a charm and is so simple to clean! Last night I steamed broccoli, a honey squash, a sweet potato and small red potatoes. Dinner and leftovers for lunch the next day. I often steam 2 eggs along with veggies for breakfast also. When steaming broccoli, I slice up the stem in small circles, so soft and creamy when done. Just buy this steamer, you’ll love it!

They NEST!!Perfect..I have not plugged it in ..but soon..with update...The crazy lady upstairs grabbed it ..because .she thinks everything is about HER..Nothing nefarious.just drifty ..grabbers ..ha..!..So I thought it was stolen..Photo of delivery ..but nothing there....All forgiven..Soon to be spinach..Brussels and bok choyAnd chicken in a low temp fry pan in olive oil...////THIS is how I would design for single guy..Small, simple, and the cheapest purchase..Well...We shall see if it survives..Dinner in an hour...Amazon was at the ready with a chopper squadron..police with shields, armoured personnel carriers and fly over by blue angles..AND ..LOCAL ...teen agers .....in matching t-shirts .....with brooms and rakes..Don't touch my deliveries..bro !!///Function review in a while...Yay !!
