I wish the rating system would allow me to rate these a 3.5, in fact for me I'd have no qualms with rating them four stars but I'll explain why I didn't do that.First of all, for me the lower rating is not a quality issue at all but a sizing and field of view issue. I have a very small and angular face and this model just fits me. These frames are extremely small and will serve children and possibly youth well. The quality and durability seems really good for the price. The metal is more stout than I would have expected and they are designed to stay snug to your face. The lenses are really dark which is good for their intended purpose for outdoor sports or beach wear. The lenses are so small though that the field of view is somewhat distorted by the nose piece and the coverage of the lens is lacking so for sports in particular X-Loop has better offerings. I do wish that for a couple $ more this model would be available with polarized lenses. I bought mine for the beach so for me these are nice as they just fit and are actually quite comfortable and stay in place. Easily four stars for me, but for most adults they will be way too small so please take that into consideration. I have the premium brand sunglasses but I don't subject mine to the abuse of travel and I will say that personally I've always had really good luck with X-Loops for beater travel sunglasses.

My biggest complaint is that they claim to be scratch resistant. 40 minutes after opening the package, I was cleaning the glasses with a UVEX cloth and it scratched it. Given that these cloths are designed for glasses to avoid scratching.... I was quite disappointed.All but one of the bolts were loose.With that being said, they were cheap. Really cheap. Tightening the bolts took all of 2 minutes and you're ready to go. The nose piece is very sturdy. The construction of the glasses is very nice. Everything seems to appear that it will hold up for the long haul. I gave them to my 7 year old son because the lens scratched and they fit his face much better than mine.

As a wrap-style pair of sunglasses, the area is too small. Way too much air, sunlight, dust, and/or rain comes through to the eyeballs for serious sporting use. But for casual use, they look and feel good and seem to be made from decent materials. A very nice value as long as you know what to expect.

I was a bit disappointed when I got these sunglasses. I was expecting a mirrored finish, but what I got was gunmetal grey. Only the screws and mini-bolts on the inside are silver, everything else is medium to dark grey. Aside from that, these sunglasses are decent quality, and fit well. The temples hug the face for a very secure fit, and they work well with baseball hats. The lightness of the glasses is definitely a plus when wearing them all day. I haven't experienced any discomfort as of yet. These will make excellent sports glasses due to the weight and fit. If it was advertised properly, I would have given it 5 stars.

I was debating between getting the blue and silver XLoop sunglasses shown in the pictures, but it turns out they only have black. The description of the product is what it will actually look like (gray or black frames). I really wish they had the blue or silver like in the pictures, but pair I received that were black were still really nice. For $6, (3 for the glasses and 3 for shipping) I was pleased. They are lightweight, comfortable, and really stretch across your eyes almost to your temple. As someone else said, they fit best with narrow faces. I'd definitely buy another pair if I could find the light blue or silver frames.

I was having trouble finding a pair of sunglasses that fit like my Oakley Penny Series. Unfortunately, my Penny's could not be repaired anymore since Oakley discontinued repair on them. I ordered these and even though they seem cheaply made, I was pleased with the way they fit. The frames fit close to my temples and the lenses are perfect size. Not to big or small. Just enough to cover my eyes without sticking out to far from the temple. The only thing I really didn't like was the small plastic bolts on the inside part of the lenses. I feel them on my brows. I would buy another pair for my second vehicle.

Okay glasses little too small for face somewhat tight

I find it funny in here somebody said these are for a narrow face. I wear a size 17 fitted hat...rather large...and these fit fine. For under 7 bucks, these look fantastic and you probably won't find better!Very mirrored so the gals won't see your eyes looking! Seriously people though, they cost 7 bucks! Worth 20 plus in my estimation. If they had a spring temple they would get a 5.
