I originally purchased two of these for my covered side porch. They're really bright and I was quite happy with them, but then we had some really heavy rains and we found out we had a roof leak on the porch. Water managed to get on top of one of the lights and get inside it, causing it to fail.I opened the light fixture (after uninstalling it, of course) and found that the fixture is not weather-tight at all (no gaskets or anything to help stop moisture from getting to the internals). There's a small circuit board inside the fixture (it's maybe 1" wide by 3" long) that is totally unprotected. I would have expected that circuit board to have some sort of weatherproof coating on it since this light is advertised as a "porch light" and ANY outdoor light is going to experience moisture.I'm not downgrading my review over that little incident since 1 - it was not something that these lights would normally encounter, and 2 - the other porch light (the one that didn't get wet) is still working perfectly and it's now been there about a year. I currently have three of these lights (two on the side porch and one at the front porch), and I might add a few of these into my house as well!

The difference in ambient lighting throughout the room and the ability to adjust the light light color as well as the soft-cool white base is a plus. Easy install with everything you need.

I love these lights, they are great and at a great price, will have to wait and see how long they last.

I bought this in May 2020 and it has worked flawlessly until a few weeks ago, January 2023. It started taking a few minutes to "warm up" like an older flourscent tube but would come on at full brightness eventually so I assumed it was on the way out and it was. Four days ago it stopped turning on at all.I was going to order a replacement since it did work well for almost 3 years but I think an led bulb/panel should have lasted longer than that.Maybe the manufacturer will chime in on the reviews.Otherwise it was a good purchase and I am buying the same unit as a replacement.

I must admit these were easy to install, did my spare bedroom office in less than 10 mins, took about the same amount of time to download and setup the app. It works fine with Alexa, or Google, I just like the option ofVoice activating my room lights. I didn’t really play around or use the music light feature on the app yet. Changing the brightness and color on the fly is really cool and convenient.

I primarily bought this because it seemed to check all the boxes of what I wanted:* Google Home / WiFi* Dimmable* Backlit/Nightlight Mode* Color ChangingHowever after installing it noticed the following differences:1. It is ONLY dimmable via the app or integrated smart service (Google/Alexa). You cannot use a dimmer switch.2. The nightlight/backlight mode doesn't give you a normal nightlight color. Instead it's all kinds of colors. I tried reducing all the color away and setting it on the nightlight mode, but it still gives you a shade of purple.3. You you put it on backlit/nightlight mode and low settings, you can see the individual LEDs.I attached a picture of #2 and #3 mentioned above.If these were like $20 a piece, then I could live it with, but at almost $50 a piece, I'm better off with a normal light fixture and smart bulb, or a similar style fixture that is dimmable on a switch.

I have been replacing all the builder light fixtures in my home. I finally finished all the main lighting and that left the closets. The house has several large closets and those needed larger fixtures. Then there were eight smaller closets that came with a very cheap single bulb fixture. They were dark even with the 60W incandescent bulb turned on! I first just stuck brighter LED bulbs in but that only helped a little because it’s hard to find powerful LED bulbs that can be placed in an enclosed fixture. Some folks who have switched to LED bulbs don’t realize that enclosed fixtures require a bulb made specifically for that application.I decided to try these to get more bright white light. They are not particularly stylish, but for this application, that wasn’t too important. They do look better than the builder fixture which was a small white glass globe attached to a horrible looking metal ring.They are incredibly simple to install. Attach the plate to the junction box, attach the wires and screw the fixture into place. They put out much more light than I expected. I can now see what’s in the closets.I would say the only downside is if the LEDs burn out, you cannot replace them. If they last as long as they state, that should not be an issue.
