Huge! Seems sturdy. Easy to assemble but read…
Current review. May add an update later. See pics. It was great dealing with the shipping company. They called and set a day and time. Great service delivered on a pallet in front of my garage as requested. Only issue is the box was trashed on one side BUT no damage and no parts missing.Easy to assemble the cart. Make sure you grease what they tell you to and use a grease gun on the nipple of the transaxle. Keep the front wheel off to do that.I bought the cage and hitch separately. The cage was actually a little more challenging to assemble and attach to the cart. Should’ve had another person for that but I made it work. The trick is to keep all the cart bolts loose until the cage is on. Just tighten the main frame stuff but leave the cart body bolts loose. Set the cage on the body for measurements as instructed, and drill the holes as explained, THEN tighten the body to the cart. If you don’t, it will be hard to get your arm around the cage to hold the body bolts to tighten. Make sure the body is locked in to the frame dump release before you tighten so it stays straight. Then, put the cage back on and tighten that.Took it for a test drive in my woods over some tough wooded terrain. Worked great, but it was empty, so we’ll see what happens with a load. I’ve read a few reviews on the wheels flipping upside down with a load on going over logs, so we’ll see.It is difficult to maneuver on its own unattached because of the four wheels. The wheels scrape on the grass, so pick your spot. Harder to turn to put it in the garage, but that’s just normal for this cart.No issues with the attached hitch for me. Fits fine on my ball hitch to the atv. It’s huge and I’m looking forward in seeing what it does. As it is, looks great and seems to be very sturdy.Put it on your saved list and wait for the price to drop. I got it for about $200 less checking it for about a week.UPDATE: June 23It’s great! Been hauling huge loads of wood. No issues. Updated pics.

These work well!
So much better and easier than the standard pin attachment for my ATV trailer. Works very well!

Rack is heavy duty, The way its attached could be improved
This rack has added twice the capacity to the trailer which has been very helpful. Without this rack the trailer would not be as useful. The reason I didn't give it a solid 5/5 review is because the trailer is because the way the rack is mounted to the trailer. You have to drill holes into the plastic and then bolt the pieces through (hopefully you can get it straight).

Love the rail kit
Love this rail kit. It will give me more storage room for hauling decoys into the field. Putting it together was a bit of a challenge for one person and I am mechanically inclined. Mainly, due to the just sheer size of it. I had to loosen all the bolts on the tub, including the bottom tube ones, because the tub was racked a bit. Once I got the two bolts on each side, where they bolt down through the side support, I used two large clamps in the front to hold the whole rack in place. I then tightened down the two bolts (one on each side where the support bracket it is in the middle). Instead of marking for the four other bolt holes and having then remove the basket to drill the holes through the tub and then reinstall the whole thing again, I instead used a 1/4" bit and eye balled where the hole should be and drilled an exploratory hole from the bottom and up through the rail hole in the rail. It's a good thing that the hole on the rail is elongated so you have some play. Then If I was on the money, which I was on all four holes, I then went and re-drilled the hole with the 3/8" bit. Installed the last four bolts and was finished. This all worked out for me. Saved a lot of time, instead of marking holes, removing the rack, drilling holes and then reinstalling the rack. Hope that helps someone who is doing it themselves.

Built sturdy. Strengthens, adds capacity to trailer.
Very pleased with purchase of the Polar 8272 rack kit.Found the kit to install easy however I do have a mechanical background. Most people should have little difficulty as well if they are familiar with cordless drills, screwdrivers etc. Would advise having a helper though.Primarily use trailer for hauling wood from cutting site to yard pulling with ATV.Estimate for wood hauling, rack increases load capacity 35-40%. Each rack is built strong; have no worries of breakage even if wood is piled higher than racks. Backed by a 5 year warranty if they do however. No doubt rack also strengthens trailer tub by making it more rigid. One note worth mentioning, hardware pack contains four small flat washers used to mount rack on tub sides. Increase the size of these to strengthen the mounting surface area on underside of tub lip. Also noted each bolt has a phillip screwdriver head which is odd. Initially thought regular cap screw heads would've been easier to tighten corner bolts then realized-- rack needs to flex with trailer's plastic tub. Phillip heads prevent over tightening.Overall a smart purchase. Should've ordered one 3 years ago with the trailer; happy to have one now though.Note to manufacture:Wished rack would go completely around the trailer but understand--can't use tilt dump if it did. But still, an optional rear rack could be made removable or made into a "swing gate" with a couple pins if tilt is needed.

Highly recommend
This is an amazing unit, everything spot on for maneuvering, sturdiness and easy to assemble. Even easier with two people. We put a 1 inch rubber matter in it. We put the sides on also and it adds capacity. We have used it a lot in the short time of ownership and highly recommend it if you have a farm, large yard, wood lot or camp. It will haul anything.
