I purchased this same bottle at a local tea room two weeks ago, and have been using it continuously ever since. I absolutely love this bottle! I can brew my tea directly in the bottle and take it with me anywhere. Because of the attached strainer, I can leave the loose tea leaves in the bottle and simply keep adding hot water throughout the day, which keep me warm and hydrated: I find that I am drinking much more water than before, and the leaves keep giving my water a wonderful flavor (use good quality tea, of course.) So I purchased two more bottles from Amazon as gifts for my daughter and a friend and they were very pleased to receive them. I have had no problems with the bottle at all and have been using it all day long for the last couple of weeks. The only inconvenience is that it doesn't fit into my car's cup holder, but it does fit into my husband's, so I guess it depends on the car. But that is only a minor inconvenience relative to the enjoyment of using the bottle. One can probably get creative in using it for making different drinks, but I am just enjoying my tea for now.

I have had mine a couple of weeks and use it all the time. Tea bags contain inferior tea and most commercial herbal tea has 'natural flavors' (i.e. chemicals) so I was looking for something I can use with the herbs from my garden. It's wonderful and lovely. I can put in the herbs and pour cold water over it and it steeps for hours until I am ready to drink it. There's nothing like a peppermint and lemon balm brew right from your garden. I am going to get another so I can take more to go. I have tried it for green tea using the instructions for turning the container over but the tea cannot be really hot or it will break the seal and it will leak. Tea will taste better anyway if the water has never boiled. I also use it for masala chai every morning with a blend I make myself but I pour black tea into the bottle as I don't want it to get bitter before I am done. I can use a fraction of the spices I had to use in a tea ball to get the same flavor since the spices are surrounded by the tea and it releases more of the flavor. I was very nervous based on the other reviews but this is a high quality item and I am very happy with it. Follow the instructions and you should be too.

Overall I like the product, it keeps my tea hot and the leafs away from my mouth. It's also really neat to see how different each tea leaf idles in the water and the color left once it's steeping. Cleanup is a real breeze, which is a big plus when I'm at work. The double wall is keep the tea hot on the inside and warm on the outside when holding (you can hold it for minutes without feeling the heat). One of the biggest positives is that the outside is a very hard plastic which actually saved me as I dropped it outside on pavement, it did not shatter and still worked normally with very light scuff marks! Highly recommended for tea's where you can leave the leafs inside the thermal, NOT for time steeped teas (like 30 seconds - 2 min). Which leads me to the biggest negative(s) of this product.As other reviews have mentioned, be VERY careful after you seal the top after you pour the hot water. The pressure buildup of the hot water will cause water to stay in the upper chamber, if you open this without being careful you can get burned. This makes time steep teas not worth making using this product (biggest issue I have with this product). I don't have issues with mine leaking, but I did find the upper chamber (whatever the silver plastic is) and the cap to feel incredibly cheap , I would of preferred a more solid material.*TIP* ALWAYS, loosen the upper chamber (NOT the Cap), you will see the water slowly trickle down, after that loosen the top (if you can) as well to speed up the process, doing so will help you not get burned.

I love this class. It's a little big for my hands but being purple makes up for that. I can make my tea and other drinks and it is so easy to drink out of this without having to transfer it from one container to another. I already had a smaller version of this but I bought this one so I would have a backup bottle. I highly recommend it!

I purchased this Libre tea bottle for traveling and bringing to work. I am often too busy to run to the local store or another building of the hospital(where I work) for hot tea during the work day. I love this product. It is really attractive, it keeps my tea warms for hours,is well made, saves me money and is so convenient.It also does not leak, as advertised. The size makes it easy to tote in my gym bag.I have now stocked my desk with an assortment of green teas making every tea break a "special moment." It is well constructed and it was worth the price I paid for it. It will pay for itself in less than a week and a half since I usually hit the snack shop for daily tea at least twice a day. It will also serve to curb impulse buys of snack foods when I make my "tea runs." Overall, a good investment and wise choice.

At first I LOVED this mug. Glass on the inside, plastic outside, and the middle filter piece was exactly what I was looking for to replace some of my older ones. I’m glad I only started with 1 of these and didn’t buy more.Not even 6 months and only ever washed it by hand and the plastic in the center piece cracked causing a leak when drinking so it’s now unusable. I went to write this review and noticed a “fog” on the glass just to find it is IN the glass. I can’t even tell where the break in the seal is but the seal is broken too. Not worth it - trying the plastic teami instead and I suggest you do too.

I bought two of these glass bottles because the Libre one I had was lost in my last move. When it was lost I was so upset because I didn’t know where to get another one and it was my absolute favorite. I’ve had other bottles that infuse and brew tea but this one is by far the best. It’s just the right size and I like that I can throw loose tea leaves or fruit directly into the bottle because the filter is on top. Such a great system. It’s very durable and comfortable to drink from. I carried my last one everywhere with me. Great product.
