OtterBoxiPhone 6 / 6s Defender Series Case - Black, Rugged & Durable, with Port Protection, Includes Holster Clip Kickstand

OtterBox is a great phone case. Her phone was dropped and kicked around at school, said it fell from top of bleachers in the gym and held up. Screen didn't break or have a scratch on it. Will buy more.

Fits the phone, lines up with all the ports and buttons, has a screen protector. This gadget provides a double layer of protection for your iPhone. The back is softish/rubbery, so it provides grip. The front is raised above the screen all the way round, so it protects against droppage. The pieces-parts all fit snugly, and the ports are all covered with little snap-tight flaps so it protects against moisture (still wouldn’t want to submerge it, though).Comes with a belt clip holster, which I enjoy. The phone clips firmly into the holster and comes out easily but never unintentionally. Additionally, the holster has a multi-position belt clip that rotates.The phone fits into the holster either front or back facing. Back facing for safety, front facing for propping the phone in landscape aspect for watching videos. The belt clip turns into a kickstand.I gave the product 5 stars, because it’s well-engineered and quality-built. The ONLY thing I don’t completely like is the port flaps. They’re a wee bit inconvenient when trying to plug something in, but when considering the added protection they provide, it’s worth the slight, First-World Whine inconvenience.I don’t know why I monkeyed around with so many other cheaper products. I now have what I “otter” have had to begin with. Worth the few extra dollars!!

I ordered this case from Amazon the day before I purchased a new iPhone 6S, and was pleasantly surprised at how much lighter & slimmer it is than the Defender case I used on my old iPhone 4S. The clip-on hard plastic holster also seems a little tougher than the previous version; the old one had to be replaced several times because the clip snagged something & cracked off, while the current holster has snagged a few times (mainly in the seat belt when I exit my car) and the worst that's happened was it popped off my belt once without any damage. The phone case itself is easy to hold and provides very good protection from falls & scratches. The rubber tabs that cover the docking port , earphone jack, and mute/vibrate switch do an excellent job of staying closed without being overly difficult to open; I'm especially happy that the earphone jack cover lines up properly (it did NOT on the 4S case), while the cover for the docking port doesn't seem to be trying to force the power/synch cable out of the port (another problem with the older 4S version of the Defender). The only complaint I have is that the bevel around the screen can get in the way when playing some games or when trying to drag app icons between screens if my finger's not at the right angle -- but it's such a minor problem that I'm not subtracting any stars because of it. This case also doesn't add as much weight or bulk to the 6S as its predecessor did to the 4S -- all in all, I'm a happy camper with this one!

This is a great defender case with the otterbox quality I continue to expect. I was a bit worried that this would have some fit issues (as one otterbox for a newer phone had before), but there are not kinks to work out with this one. This case fit our iphone 6s's perfect on the first try. There are no issues with gapping between the screen protector and the iphone, and there is no issue with the rubber outer shell being loose or ill-fitting.Of course, if you need a very slim profile you need to go with a commuter series or something less than the defender, but this is not THAT bulky and I enjoy feeling like I am extra protected. If you are giving the phone to a kid, if your kid likes to play with your phone, or you are just clumsy yourself, I highly recommend using the defender series of otterbox cases. This is the version that has the inside portion that totally encases your phone (with screen protection) and then you have the rubberized outer shell that gives you a nice grip and shock absorption if you drop the phone. I would not go dropping this thing on purpose, but I have never had an issue with a broken phone while using an otterbox defender and I do tend to drop my phone a lot.I have no issues with getting to all my components/jacks and I have no issues with hearing my caller or hearing my speakers when I play a video. This is not a waterproof case. You can probably splash some water and be fine, but this is not the version that you can actually, safely, immerse in water. If you want to take this in the bathtub with you though, it is protected enough that you can place the encased phone inside of a ziplock bag and use it in the bath. Do not immerse it in the water, but you can touch it with wet hands and you will not ruin your phone, nor will you have issues with the touch screen.Oh yeah.....this is a cute color too!

I purchased this as a replacement for the same case that I purchased over 7 years ago. It kept my old phone looking like new after all this time in a rough construction environment. The screen protector on my old one was pretty scratched up. That’s the only reason I got this replacement. This case is the gold standard in protection and the outer rubber allows a good grip. But, if you do drop it, no worries at all. It’s like a little suit of armour!

The picture above is my old case, I thought when I bought it that it would look turquoise but it was a lot more blue in person than advertised.It also had a built in screen protector but I took it out as it did mess with how the touch screen responded, however the screen protector excess glue (i forgot to remove) it has accumulated a lot of hairs and lint over the good lifespan of atleast 2 and a half years I’ve had it.The back started to fall apart at the end but it has served me well for the surprising long time since it survived through falls and drops only cracking where you see it has snapped off when I changed the case.Only real disappointment is when you buy a new charging cable that’s not shaped like an apple charger then you might not be able to fit it through the casing.I got the defender both times because they’re built sturdy, affordable and have little flaps for the ports.I’ve decided to buy this product again with this new black one. I love these cases!

Top of the line Defender series...delivered on time, basic pkging fine. Save money and inconvenience this way...dont have to worry about multiple accidental droppings; no damage to phone...should be less with better grip and handling. Removed screen protector as already have one. Buttons work and holes aligned. Great value, worth the price....compare to lower Commuter series good but failed after 3yrs; phone broke. Wish they would make Defender for huawei p20lite and moto g7 play.

Es lo mejor protector + clip, si quieres proteger a tu telefono, ya no compraria un telefono si otter no tiene protector, proteges tu inversion. el clip es muy resistente, yo tengo lonja asesina de clips, los rompia y no habia alguno que durara, con otter me duran 2 años los clips, y se rompen del punto donde hace clip con el telefono, mas no de la parte del cinturon. La membrana plastica, buena, yo la uso de forma muy ruda, me dura 1 mes, a mi esposa lleva 3 años y su funda esta al 100. recomiendo cortar la tapita del cargador, ya que si no lo haces, cada vez que conectas el cable abres y deformas la proteccion y se va olgando. si lo haces desde nueva no pasa eso. el producto para tablet ipad es tambien muy bueno.
