I've been suffering for a few months with a sore ankle and swollen foot. X-rays show nothing, so the doctor said there was little to do. I thought I'd give this brace a shot. I am so glad I did - though this was quite reasonably-priced, it has significantly improved my foot, especially on days when I'm walking a lot. The brace is quick to apply (30 seconds to a minute), and is surprisingly slim and comfortable - I wear it under a sock and a shoe; nobody needs to know it's there. It's easily adjustable - the velcro fit makes it really easy to adapt to different sizes. Definitely worth a try!

I bought this as I was experiencing pain in my knee and ankle, and as a result was walking awkwardly which I think was making the injuries worse.I’ve found you get more support if you do the figure of 8 so that the Velcro strap finishes on the outside of the ankle. It’s very easy to put on and has silicone on the inside that keeps it in place. The most comfortable way to wear it is with no socks. You can put a sock over it, but I found it’s better to put it on over the sock as it is a little bit bulky.I gave it 4 stars as when I wear it with trainers it rubs my heel slightly. I think the back of the trainer moves it, and then instead of the silicone keeping it in place it digs in the heel a bit. That said it’s easy to wear with trainers as it’s not too bulky.I would recommend it, it definately provides support and you can easily adjust how tight you want it to be. I think it’s really helping to relieve the pain in my ankle and is helping me walk “normally” whilst I have this injury. Good value for money and does the job.

I have weak ankles, always have done. Over the last couple of years my knees have deteriorated badly to the point of needing a knee replacement at some stage for the left knee. Combined with the weak ankles walking became agony. I now strap up my right ankle before any long(er) walks and it alleviates the pain in the ankle at least! Because I feel more stable overall the impact on the knees is also lessened. It's quite easy to put on and the velcro strap is very strong, just be mindful not to pull the band too tight (as I have done and learnt not to). I will give the other strap to my 80 year old mother, having just one is enough for me. If there was a similar strap for knees I'd buy that too. I have a massive brace that is just too horrid to wear.

I get a bit of tendinitis on my right Achilles and after trying a few products that say they support your ankle or stumbled onto this one, it’s easy to apply you can put as much or as Little pressure to support your ankle as you need to wear some others the strap they send seems to be a bit too short.I highly recommend this product. It’s a great support for any sports!!

Bought these to help with my painful ankles. They work as far as giving extra support but they do nip in places, especially under the bridge of my foot.Not the easiest to put on and I do think that over time the Velcro will wear.

They do the job. I needed these after suffering a nasty ankle sprain whilst playing netball. They don't have splints/supports on the side, instead they are a wrap around style which you can have as tight or as loose as you like. Id recommend wearing them over a pair of socks rather than under as they can dig into your skin if they're strapped on too tightly. I wear them over my socks and they're very comfortable and don't slip. The velcro fastening is extremely secure and they don't slide whilst I'm playing.

Needed these as I had started to get pain in the side of my right foot and ankle. These fit nicely and can be as tight or loose as you like. The grippy silicone does irritate the skin so wore it over a sock which was far more comfortable and allowed longer use during the day. It also did the trick and has reduced the pain considerably so believe they have done their job. I would recommend these

Very happy with these. Do the job, offered stability and reduced swelling. Like they are adjustable as I needed to loosen off during day on long walks.
