Not sure how durable they are.
I have only used this pair for 1 brake job. However, I really like using these for the way I do brakes. I've had a one of these before and they little tang that grabs the spring wears out. Not sure what happened to that tool (lost it, stolen by another mech etc.) The way this tool is bent is a little awkward.

Worked great then broke
The tool preformed decently for a couple of brake jobs, then the hook started to bend. After a few more jobs, it finally snapped off
