This product came to me split and chipped with staples protruding. It does not have any instructions on how to install with no pre-drilled holes for the massive hardware. It is also extremely heavy and difficult to hang.The seller was unwilling to accept a return on the product because I was over their 30 day window, unavoidable to me. if you purchase this product, open immediately!!! and be ready to hang something you would pick up in a barn yourself - WAY OVER PRICED!!

Love these shelves - just what I wanted in our beach cottage - and so nice. The brackets are really heavy and gorgeous - so nice. the wood is so characteristic of the old days - you cannot beat these if you are looking for an example of old rustic rough-hewn wood shelving. Perfect.

I love these shelves because they are beautiful! I think the wood is beautiful, I think the brackets are beautiful, and I love the size. You need to take their advice and find studs for sure because they are heavy. I am a slightly more fit than average woman I'd say, but I couldn't put these up by myself.To the bad...the lag bolts they came with are the wrong size. They don't fit in the bracket holes at all. So you need to either buy your own nice ones (because these shelves are heavy) or drill the bracket holes bigger. I found this very annoying since the shelves weren't cheap.

Beautiful and sturdy shelves. So much character with the random holes and grain pattern. One note, for those who don’t have wood studs you can mount into, I used standard flip/toggler bolts straight into drywall, 1/4-20 size and it got the job done just fine. I would think the manufacturer would recommend this option for those who are unable to mount into studs for whatever reason.

Completely transformed our laundry room with 2 of these kits. We had those white wire shelves and some plastic bins. Took all that out and on the wall above the washer/dryer we put 2 long ones and then over the deep sink we put 2 of the 24" ones. It is actually amazing how replacing the original shelves with these reclaimed wood shelves could make such a difference. At first I was going to do the Big Box DIY shelves. You know get the brackets, then cut and stain some 2" x 8" pine wood. I am so glad my wife talked me into getting this "real" wood shelves. I could tell that the short and long came from the same piece of wood, the worn down color match was perfect! I did have to drill out the holes on where the lag bolts go through. The holes were to small for the lag bolts to go through the brackets on both kits.

Extremely rough, to the point of hhaving dangerous splinters on edge that we had to repair. And the anchors sent with them were for more lightweight pictures. Fortunately we had a professional builder hanging them and he had tools and materials to do it right. would not recommend unless you are easy handy with building.

Beautiful shelves with a real natural look. I decided that the espresso color was not going to work with my decor. I am considering the off white for my next order.

This was my second and third set of these shelves. They look amazing--we get so many compliments. The lumber is rough hewn and massive. The hardware is substantial and adds to the industrial aesthetic. Make sure you find the stud when installing! Could not be happier with these shelves.

This product is exactly as it states, it’s solid, it’s quality, it’s 100% worth the money. However, I’m in Canada and had to pay duties. Wasn’t happy, but what can you do. Item is A++
