Twin Size - Otis Haley 110 Futon Mattress

This is the third Haley twin mattress I’ve bought. The first two were for use on daybeds in a vacation home; they were the extra firm ones. They are very firm; good for use on couches that convert to beds. I added egg-crate pads to those to soften them for sleeping comfort. This one (110) I bought for a twin bed and it is very comfortable. Make sure you have adequate support for the mattress to sit on. The slats are fine for the extra firm mattress but I would recommend a smooth piece of plywood or a bunkie board for the 110 mattress.

I think this mattress is comfortable, I like the firmness but it is way too thick to fold like a real futon mattress should. I was very disappointed with that. However, if you would like to purchase this as a standard mattresss I think it is great if you like a firm bed.

So far, I love this thing. Maybe it's just because my last bed was eleven years old with a big dip, but man, this thing is comfy if you are looking for something mid-firm.

Very impressive; Bought this for my camper because it was lightweight and comfortable. I was not disapointed; the mattress is extremely comfortable. Firm and supportive yet responsive to your sleep position. I am very happy with my purchase. My only suggestion to the manufacturer might be to use a better quality fabric for the covering. Doesn't matter a bit once it is in place and you have the sheets on it! Very good value for trhe money!
