Great cooking
This burner is heavy duty! I am a canner and I ran a fully loaded pressure canner on the large burner side for 3 days in a row about 12 hours a day. It held up well, no burner collapse from the weight, it was slower to heat the canner than a traditional stove, but once it heated up it was wonderful! Plus I used it with a skillet to cook and the heat was even and it handled the cooking great! Definitely recommend!

It’s one of the best, but...
I absolutely love this burner overall. This is the third Waring I bought over the years cause they do burn out over the years when used daily. This one heated fast cause it’s new. My only concern is cleaning it when food spills on the surface. If it gets too hard one is going to need more than a sponge to clean it up.

Great investment!
I recently moved into a very small apartment that does not have a stove or oven and after some research decided to give the Waring double burner a try. I'm happy that I did as I am able to cook almost anything I want on it: stir-fry, pasta, steak, chicken, etc. The one thing I would recommend is buying a large griddle that can sit atop both burners - great for when you're cooking for more than 2 people. Great investment and highly recommend to those requiring a stove-top replacement (although I will admit, nothing beats an open flame!).

GREAT PRODUCT
Brought for my husband who is a truck driver so that he would be able to make home cooked meals verse buying food everyday all day. It works better than a stove. Was worth the extra money to get this one verses the cheaper ones. DO NOT BUY FOR A TRUCK DRIVER, IT WILL BLOW A FUSE TOO MANY VOLTS

GOOD ELECTRIC STOVE!!!
