Very cute light. The bulb was too bright for me. I just switched it out for a lower wattage one. It works perfectly.

I actually purchased this little lamp to use as a nightlight in my office. My regular nightlight that plugged into an outlet burned out and I saw these little candle lights. I really like it. It's really cute. Kind of a little bit of Christmas spirit all year around And it gives off a decent amount of light at night. You can't read by it ,but you can see things in the room. I think it's a great purchase.

Designed to look unique-- different from any other electric candles presently available. This little electric candle is an economical alternative to the battery-operated votives, candles and pillars that are so widely available nowadays.I bought two and put one in a lantern and one in the glass chimney of an old oil lamp. I love the smaller size because you can do things with it like this, giving this product many more decorative possibilities. Placed in this way it lends new life to my olden-times decorations, making them appear lit with flame and returned to their original function as flame lamps! BUT SAFE!! I won't be risking starting a fire. THAT is a BIG plus!The electric cord is easy enough to hide but it saves dollars a month on battery expenses.It never gets hot, even after 24/7 use.I chose to replace the accompanying candle bulb with the flickering, real-flame bulbs. I purchased six of them on Amazon. The website description lists what to order if you choose to do this. This makes it look even more like a genuine candle versus a commonplace cheap electric candlestick.I had to take some time to screw in the bulbs VERY gently. (I even had trouble with the bulbs shipped with the candle.) This appears to be a manufacturing flaw with the threads of the bulb socket. However it IS possible with gentle patience, and once it is screwed in tight, it is secure and safe.Especially for the price, I am delighted with these little electric candles.As time passes and I keep them in constant use, I will post if I encounter any issues. I just love these little rustic candles… I put them in my lanterns instead of batteries! I also put them on timers to save money.
