Well designed, sturdy, and supportive. Best tips I've ever owned.
I use my crutches everyday, and have done so for 30 years. I'd like to think I've used a lot of them in my life, and for a while, like a lot of crutch users, I got fed up with constantly replacing the tips on my crutches every two months. These tips just might be the best I've used to date.Whoever invented these things was a certifiable genius, and must use crutches themselves. Right off the bat, the first thing you'll notice is that they're heavy. Think hockey puck, you get the idea. The material also reminds me of a hockey puck, almost like some kind of vulcanized rubber material. There's absolutely nothing flimsy or soft about these at all.Installation was not easy, but it was manageable. I used a small amount of petrolium jelly to lubricate the inside of the pad, as well as the crutch itself. They went on a bit easier. I imagine I'll have to probably cut them off when they do finally need replaced. Now that they're on, my weight has helped them to set in and they're not going anywhere. You will notice that these tips do increase the height of your crutches once installed, so you may need to lower them a bit to compensate for this. They work like a dream. I'd describe them as four wheel drive for your crutches, with some nice grips that work well on uneven terrain. We have a gravel driveway and these just dig in to the rocks with zero problems. They also articulate a bit, keeping the base of them on the ground as you ambulate your weight from front to back. Works just as well on grassy yards. These provide a very steady base you can move on with confidence. The additional weight might take a little getting used to, but after a few days, I don't even notice it.Obviously these cost substantially more than your basic crutch tips, but as soon as you get them in your hands, you'll know where that money went. For someone who's going to be on crutches temporarily (a few weeks), the cost of these may not be justified. However, if you will be on your crutches for an extended period of time, or you're like me and will have them for the rest of your life, these are an outstanding investment. Especially if you're sick and tired of slicing open crutch tips on a regular basis.Should I have any problems with these in the future, I will update my review accordingly, but as of now, these are the best, most well designed tips I've ever owned and I would not hesitate to buy them again. Absolutely worth the expense.

these have been total life-savers. ive been able to go on nature tours with these, and they give me extra stability when walking. only issue is that theyre hard to put on, but once they're attached theyll never slip off unintentionally!

Very Solid and Stable Tip!
These tips are amazing and the best in the business.I am a heavy guy(300lbs.) and I use a cane for balance more than anything else and I put a lot of weight on my cane at times. These tips along with the Ergocap Ultra Light tips are the best in the business. A lot of thought has gone into the design of these tips and it shows. I have been using the ultralight version on my Ergocane and I decided try the High Performsnce Tip, it took a bit of getting used to because of the difference in weight between the High Performance version and the Ultra Light, the High Performance tip is much heavier than the Ultra Light but I find that the High Performance tip gives me just a little more stability and with my weight it feels just a little more sturdy. I still like the Ultra Light Tip and have it on my other Ergocane but I like the High Orrfirmance tip just a little more because of it’s bulk. The High Performance tip is a real solid tip and as I said it takes a little getting used to because of the weight but within a day I was used to it and what a difference it makes in stability. I really feel stable using this tip and it allows me to really lean on my cane when nessessary.I highly recommend this tip!-FS🇺🇸

IF SPIDER MAN NEEDED CRUTCHES WITH A GOOD GRIP...
A lot bigger in person and slightly heavier than a standard replacement tip.I waited a while before reviewing the Ergocap® High-Performance Crutch Rubber Tip because I had previously purchased other seller's crutch tips that wore out quickly. The Ergocap® is a durable well-engineered replacement for anyone who is crutch-dependent. The Ergocap® adds about an inch to the overall length of your crutches, so you'll need to re-adjust the length (shorten by one click) and double check your hand-grip position too.The arched design of the foot assures improved traction and the flexible neck-connection provides for an "automatic full-contact adjustment" if the angle of attack and full footprinting is less than ideal.WARNING: Once you put these on your crutches they have to be cut off. They're not something you can switch-in/switch-out seasonally. Also, they can accumulate a healthy sample of garden soil. So, unless you want to grow plants in the kitchen, it's best you hose them off and dry them thoroughly before entering your home. Also, if you've walked over freshly mown grass, there's a good chance you'll be printing green bull's eyes on your floors. You can "erase" the "clorophyl ink" with a rag, or by rotating the tip in a coconut fiber mat.

WOW! I wish I had known about these years ago!
I am thrilled with these crutch tips. The other brand I was using would wear out in less than 6 weeks. These tips are wonderful. I was told they did not slip like the other brans. He was correct on that. However, they are very tight to fit onto the crutches. You also will be using your arms and shoulders differently, so expect some soreness in that area. I love them. By this time, with the other brans, I would be checking my tips daily to make sure the crutches or the washer was not coming through the rubber. I am doing daily checks. The tread is still excellent. I live in CNY and we get snow. You still have to be careful of the water that is on the bottom, but I am definitely slipping less than I was. I credit the tips with me not falling yet. I usually do that 5 or 6 times over the winter. None do far. LOVE THEM!

Not for wet or snow covered ground
If you live in a wet or snow covered climate, these tips are very dangerous. They slip on the smallest amount of moisture. I've been walking on crutches for 50 years. These are the worst I've ever spent my money on. Thomas Fetterman performance rain tips are the best for wet and snow covered climates.
