This Book Could Have Been Called, "How to Build a Money Machine"!
This book made me STOP dead in my tracks. As a new insurance agent, I wanted to know what to do to win. Fast. Was there a proven path of success? If so, what is it, how do I find it, and what do I need to do to make sure it works for me? I can't implement David's time-proven techniques into my process fast enough. Love this book - buy the book and see for yourself!

Packed with indispensable advice for the new or prospective insurance agent.
I am a newly licensed life & health insurance agent and this quick read opened my eyes to an entirely different perspective on this industry and what I can do to make a great living selling insurance. It includes numerous practical examples about how to evaluate the companies that I might work for, the types of life insurance that I might choose to sell, as well as solid advice on what it takes to be successful and pointers on what to watch out for that might kill my success.Though there are plenty of books that cover motivation and sales techniques, I've not found any other book that comes close to the completely candid, boots on the ground, advice for the actual day-to-day activities, objectives & goals required for a new person in this industry to succeed.

Little info, and what's there is too basic
This is a thin book printed in large typeface, and many "chapters" are barely a paragraph long. Honestly, this seems more like a pamphlet than a book written by a master insurance sales agent. Instead of providing helpful advice on HOW to succeed, the book tells you you probably WON'T succeed because only a small percentage of people who go into the insurance field make it. Big help. If you're looking for practical tricks of the trade, keep looking. This book is no help.

Lowers your self esteem chapter by chapter
Worst book I’ve ever finished reading. If you’re new to insurance and want to feel inadequate, like a number, and that you’ve picked the wrong career... read this. It will keep your attention because you’ll be scared about your decision.

Good fast read for brand new agents
I'm a big David Duford fan. Good for brand new agents but pretty basic for experienced ones. Read this if you are looking into this as a career. Could help you avoid some big mistakes.

Good book
It Is a good (not excelent) book. It helps new agents to start, and vet ones to refresh. I dont agree His opinion about multilevel insurance companies. I work with a couple and are very producer focused. Recruiting Is encouraged for those who have the experiences to share and train others. Any way, reading the book Is Worth it.

Fantastic introduction to a career in insurance
The book is short and to the point. It should answer the majority of your questions if you're serious about joining the business. David does an excellent job with his honest and effective communication style. He touches on major topics of the business and provides additional reads to continue the research process. I also listen to his podcast which is very good.

Sorry
Expected something regarding the training. He tells us to find a mentor. That’s it. Why a full book for that?
