Top quality product, perfect, snug, fit even with 2 side-by-side
I've had other USB C products that feel loose, don't go all the way in the port, or don't go deep enough and consequently don't work well, if at all. This product fits very snugly (I'm sure over time this stuff loosens but nice it's not loose out of the box!) and it fits against the port down to a micrometer. It has a gratifying "snap" into place right against the machine and feels quality as well. Nothing moves on it, it's made of anodized aluminum end to end, and quite snugly holds on to the USB A accessories you plug into it. Not only that, this thing actually works.I have 3 USB C to USB A adapters now. One from here, one from Samsung with my old phone, and one from eBay.The eBay one basically only works with mice and keyboards. Forget about data transfer it flakes out and corrupts data. The Samsung one works for everything like this Nonda one does too, but the Samsung one is too fat and when plugged in it blocks access to the other USB C port on my system. This Nonda one is, again, down to the micrometer in size and you can fit two of these next to each other on most systems with dual USB C ports. In my case a Dell 5290 tablet but I also confirmed you can fit two in Apple systems too, since they use a standard distance on their product lineup from each USB C port.Things I've tried in this adapter: Mouse. Keyboard. 16gb flash drive. 256gb flash drive. 1tb Sandisk Extreme SSD, and an iPhone USB A to Lightning cable. I had no data issues after transfers and everything just worked. Great purchase!!

I wish my favorite computer company would make something this simple and elegant
I bought the $30 dongle from my favorite computer company, but typically have more than one USB device that I am usually swapping out on a regular basis. Amazon had this on sale for a fraction of the price of the dongle from the fruit company (the regular price is still a fraction!) and I couldn't be more impressed with its simplicity and build quality. One caveat if you are planning to buy a handful of these for your MacBook Pro rather than Apple's $30 solution - your USB-C ports will be too close together that you wouldn't be able to have two of these plugged in side by side. Maybe one on the left side of your MacBook and one of the right. If you need more USB ports than that you should really look into many of the USB-C docks you can find here on Amazon that will also give you additional ports like network, HDMI, and an SD slot. I have one of those too, I just prefer to have my USB optical drive on the other side of my desk from the dock - that is why I bought this. EDIT: This thing really snaps into place on the USB-C port on the MacBook, so much so that it can be difficult to pull out. At least the first time I removed, I needed to close the laptop lid and place the MacBook between my legs is I could get good leverage to pull the thing out. Maybe that will get easier with a little wear. EDIT 2: months later, this pulls out of a port easily.

Great price/material/design, but DIFFICULT to remove. (UPDATE)
UPDATE (8/11) Via Amazon, Nonda reached out to me in an effort to make things right. They informed me that due to a design change on apples part, that some batches of their small adapters wouldn't fit properly and would then result in the concern I had. They readily offered me a replacement *THAT WAS TESTED/CONFIRMED OK BY NONDA THEMSELVES* 0.0... or a different style that performed the same function. I went with the other style, but regardless their customer support, and 'crowd control' of the incorrect batches was phenomenal. Nonda is receiving 5 stars for phenomenal customer support and replacement program.Great material, price, and design, but it is really hard to remove for me. I am not sure if other users are experiencing this, but after I plug it in (make sure its flush to laptop like the seller's photo shows) it has a VERY audible 'click' noise to let you know it is seated. This is nice because it lets me know it is secure.... but it's like TOO secure. I actually had to close my laptop and put it in my lap so I could get the right grip on the device to yank it out of the USB-C port. This makes me feel anxious that I may break my the ports on my laptop due to how much force I am actually applying to remove this thing. Any one else having this? If it was easier to remove it would be an instantaneous 5/5, but I'm too nervous to use it and worry I will break my ports.

Very useful
Reading through the questions I have to point at that there is no magic here. This literally takes a USB-C port and makes it into a standard USB-A port. Only the pins for USB-A are connected so for example the MacBook Pro's 12volt USB-C charger with this inserted will be putting out 5volt (standard, I measured it with a USB tester).Matter of fact in my brief testing the device may even loose the data connection required to request higher amperages. Putting this adapter in line with my iPad and plugging it in it was charging at 5volt 1amp, removing it it was charging at 5volt 2.3amp which is significantly faster (without it).Its a USB-C to USB-A device, NOT the other way around. It will limit performance to USB-A specs to anything its connected too. So if you have a USB-A male to USB-C male cord and you pop this on the end, you've done nothing other than waste your time. It will still connect to won't help you with anything USB-C related. However that isn't the intended purpose, it works very well adapting USB-C devices to USB-A. Due to the specs and backward compatibility with the USB standard having this adapter on your Mac (or whatever) is like having a USB-A on it.It has a very high build quality. The light on it is convenient too.I would recommend this product. Even if you are like me and have a couple hubs you keep in your bag this adapter is just nice to have....just in case....
