Useless
Ordered for a little experiment on hand sterilizers. NOTHING grew at all. Even the initial dirty hand. Later took a still “sterile” plate and flooded it with a soil solution. Still nothing. So much for science. I should know what I was doing as I am a retired microbiologist.

Worked great
Normally I’d order empty dishes and pour my own agar. Due to timing/space constraints I gave these a try. They worked great. Whenever the budget allows for it I’ll buy these over pouring my own.

Very effective and easy to use
These are great. We used them to determine how well the boys were cleaning the house and lets just say they need to step up their game, Results start in just a couple of days. No prep, just use and wait.

Will buy again
I purchased agar in petri dishes. One pkt had mold start in them in the package. Seller replaced and then some. I definitely will buy again!

Not useful for mycology.
Tried to use for mycology. Poor growth and tons of contamination. Package arrived with tons of condensation inside the plates. Spawned all types of funky bacteria before the mycelium even started.

Makes growing bacteria easy
I used some of these plates to verify that a UV-C device really does kill bacteria (it does).These plates made it trivially easy to complete my task.
