Yeah, I found this cd in my searching for more music from there 2001 cd, Journey To Jah (which is for anyone who likes reggea thats not like what the stereotypical reggea sounds. It's for the younger listeners I feel and almost like rap but not. I got this album along with a live one and there newest one. All of which are worth a purchase, or a download because there very hard to find.

gentleman is a bonafide super star in the reggae world.his lyrics are consicous and uplifting, his melody is solid,and his latest album, CONFIDENCE.. which has 20 SONGS..no fillers..is by far one of greatest reggae release last year.trodin on is is 2nd album, if you were to get his albums,get Confidence, then Journey to Jah, then Trodin ONyou will NOT be dissapointed. everyone sings, with him,from morgan heritage, capleton, anthony B, Ras shiloh,to luciano and barrington levy. can't wait for his 4thalbum, you can sample his 1st and 3rd album using real audioat aloha2go.com for samples..

great tunes on this album but have to agree with everyone else journey to jah is the better of the two album but can not wait for his new album "confidence" 30 aug 2004if you have never heard of gentleman and you love your reggae like i do then listen to his lyrics, trust me he is the best reggae artist in europe at the moment and this is from me in the uk and i can't get his albums from the local retailers in england.so how good is he, well i download a lot of reggae music and this time i am going to buy a album for the first time in 4 years, that is how good he is.

Gentleman cd's are hard to find because he is from GERMANY.....this album reminds me back to 99....haven't listen to it for years......but i just discovered "journey to jah" and i like it a lot. way better than this one.....but still this one is worth to check out!

Gentleman has been one of my favorites from the 1st time I heard his music. You will NOT ever be disappointed in any CD of his.I just saw him at Bob Marley Day 2005 in Long Beach, Ca and he also sounds just as good in person. His lyrics and Music are so great and his message is one of truth and love.

A German guy doing reggae. GOOD regga at that! I stumbled upon this guy when I was in Germany and "Dem Gone" (from Journey to Jah) was in heavy rotation. I'm not a huge reggae fan, but he's got some hot stuff. If you're looking for his full catalog, go to amazon.de.

poor quality sound

While I haven't heard this entire album, I do have the Heat of the Night single and have heard a couple of the other songs. These other songs are alright, but Heat is a very bumpin' tune that will have you up dancing - reggae with a strong hip-hop flavor. An album worth getting.

Das Album hat mir durch seine gute Mischung aus Dancehall und Roots Reggae Tracks gut gefallen,abwechslungsreich und mit starken features geht es sofort ins Ohr und wird auch nach mehrmaligem hören nicht langweilig oder eintönig. Gentleman kann in beiden Genres überzeugen, allerdings finde ich, dass er seinen künstlerischen Höhepunkt erst mit Another Intensity erreicht hat, weshalb's nur 4* gibt.

Das Produkt ist wie in der Beschreibung beschrieben. Bin sehr zufrieden mit diesem Produkt. Ich würde dieses Produkt wieder kaufen.

bestes Album von Gentleman!

Diese CD habe ich mir gekauft, weil Sie mir einen Einblick in die Anfänge ermöglichst und meine Sammlung vervollständigt hat

kein Vergleich zu Seeed (ich wollte mal etwas anderes, reggaeartiges hören), aber durchaus smooth und nett, man hört sich warm.
