This was such a fun and adorable read
My first thought after reading this book was; I hope Disney turns this into a movie or show. This was such a fun and adorable read. With an entertaining and creative concept that combines sci-fi and fairy tale, I knew I wanted to read it just as soon as I read the blurb. I may be a grown adult, but there is something wonderful about escaping with a book made for kids. It takes you to that place where you feel young and the possibility of make believe and wishes still exist. I wish I had a book like this when I was a little girl, it would have been one of my favorites. I highly recommend this for young children and even adults who are looking for a charming escape from everyday life. The concept to this one was really cool. I loved learning about all the star-technology and terminology's. From Holo-books and Star Transmitters to the Star Observation Tower and Wish Garden, this book was full of clever creativity that was so much fun to explore.Ahmet Zappa and Shana Muldoon Zappa must have had a lot of fun writing this book. It's beautifully told, adventurous, light with illuminating life lessons to be learned. I also loved the gorgeous art illustrations, bringing the characters and scenes even more to life.Sage Starling is an enthusiastic when it comes to getting started at the Academy, but impatient to do the work. Her roommate Cassie acts a little odd sometimes, private, like she's hiding something and Scarlet is just plain mean. But when Sage finds out that she's apart of the Star Darlings and goes on her first mission to Earth, she will prove that with a little help from her new friends she can help save her planet and help Humans find a way to make their wishes come true. All in all I really enjoyed Star Darlings Sage's Story. It's an animated, amusing and imaginative sweet story about friendship and teamwork. So remember, the next time you blow out your candles or pull on a wishbone, a Starling may appear to help you make your wish come true, so make it a good one. A delightful read!

dare to wish
This is an interesting series of books. They are new characters from Disney. The Star Darlings grant wishes to those on earth (or Wishworld). Their mission is to counteract negative energy on earth. I am an adult reader and am intrigued by the "spiritual" message of these books. The Darlings are not angels, but learn wish-fufillilng at the Star Academy. There are many "deeper" implications of these books, but their most powerful message is that wishes can come true and the strength of believing.

Very Cute
I instantly became intrested in these books after the seeing the reveal of the dolls. The dolls look simply amazing, and the sweet covers of the books look so charming. They also remind me a lot of the old comic series W.I.T.C.H., which I absolutely loved when I was younger so I could not resist grabbing this book and the 2nd one that is available. The books are a great price, but still have really nice little details to them, for instance there's a nice little drawing of the POV character of the book in the front cover, as well as a little blurb and drawing about their "wish pendant" and "power crystal" which is a nice reference to how they look. The book pages themselves are also splashed with purple color and little stars, which is really a nice detail. The color I especially like because they're unique to each book which is just a nice little touch for such a cheap book. Each book also includes character describtions of the 14 girls that include mini bios and their goals(wishes), which is very sweet and honestly helpful since there are 14. They also include little drawings of them, though they're not in color. Their bios include their fav color though so you can find them on the back in color. Each book also includes a little glossary with some of their "star words", which I think is very nice and will be good for younger fans of these books that might not get context clues. Now to the plot, I don't have much to say since I'm 22 and don't think I can give the best opinion, but I did enjoy it. The plot of course was obvious, but I also wasn't bored when reading it. I'm hoping to read it with my young cousin when I see her this winter, and I think she will love it. I also think these will make great companions to the dolls, and personally I love this trend of making books about doll lines, like the Ever After High series and such.

What I like about this book
I like the part where Sage got to Wishworld (Earth) and made some friends with the wishlings (humans). I like those tie-dyed shirts, theyโre hilarious.

Got this book for my kids, so far they love every book in the series. Very nicely put together book, all the bells and whistles to make it visually appealing with a story to match.
