Poetic Guardian Series Case for Moto G Power (2020),[Not Fit 2021 Version & MOTO G8 POWER (INTERNATIONAL VERSION)] Full-Body Hybrid Shockproof Bumper Cover with Built-In-Screen Protector, Purple/Clear

Three years ago I bought a Poetic Revolution case for a Motorola phone. This case provides excellent protection from dropping the phone. The bumper edges are pretty much shock proof. My phone came loose from my bicycle mount and cartwheeled across the pavement without getting any damage. The back is hard plastic and separated by a gap from the phone, also providing great protection.I just bought this Poetic Guardian case because the 2020 Poetic cases are out of production and I wanted a spare case for when the bumper edges begin to degrade on my first case. This may happen after 6 or more years of use with this material. The Guardian was the only Poetic case I could find. This new Guardian case has the same great bumper edges but the case back is a thin, clear flimsy plastic. The case is also thinner so the case back is closer to the phone providing less protection. It should provide adequate protection because most drops are stopped by the bumper edges. This case will work but next time I need a case I'll buy an extra one at the same time.4 stars for the durable bumper edges and it comes with 2 front frames. One has a clear plastic screen protector, the other has no screen protector so I can use a separate tempered glass screen protector. This is a good case but not a great case like some of Poetic's other cases.Edit: upgrade to five stars. This phone case is thinner and lighter than my other Poetic case making it much more comfortable to carry in my back pocket. (I also have a Quad Lock mount stuck to the back of my other case making it even thicker.) This case with the clear back will work very well for everyday use. I'm unlikely to drop it on something like a rock that could crack the thin back of the case. Almost all drops and shocks in normal daily life will be absorbed by the bumper corners and edges when hitting the floor or flat surfaces.The clear back has plenty of room for a Quad Lock mount if I ever decide to put one on it and use this case for bike rides. (That is a Quad Lock mount on my other case)This phone case is a lot better and more versatile than I initially thought with the understanding that the clear back won't protect as well as a thicker plastic back from a hard direct hit.

Edit: Just dropped my phone onto concrete from about 4 feet. The phone is perfectly fine. I don't notice any scratches or marks on the case or screen protector.Positives-The case is very sturdy. I have not dropped my phone yet but the phone feels protected.-The case includes an optional screen protector. The touchscreen works as normal You sometimes get a rainbow effect from the screen protector but this is not noticeable when the screen is on and seems to go away on its own.-The case was fairly easy to install. There is a lip in the bottom right corner where you separate the gray cover from the the rest of the case. Install the gray cover and then place the phone into the back part of the case.-The case provides enough grip to not slip out of your hands.-The case fits the Moto G Power perfectly. I'm able to use the buttons and fingerprint sensor on the back without any issues. Note: the Moto G8 Power is a different international phone and if you have that phone, you'll need a different case.Negatives-Dust can get under the screen protector which is annoying but not very noticeable when the screen is on. You also have the option of not using the screen protector.-The clear back can be a fingerprint magnet but this is easily wiped away.Overall, I like the case and I think it is well worth the $16.95 that I paid.

Purchased this case since it was inexpensive and seemed durable. Upon receiving the case I was impressed by it, seems to be well designed and durable, fits the phone perfectly. I really like the fact the it has a built in screen protector. Only down side is that it makes the phone fairly bulky now, but I suppose that's expected for a phone case that's supposed to be "durable" and protect the phone. Overall good purchase for the price.

I decided I needed a protective case when a previous phone disintegrated after a crash while riding my bike. This case is excellent - it's already protected my current phone from a couple of drops and dings that might otherwise have been disastrous. The case is easy to handle, not too large (it fits in my bike's phone mount), and all the controls - including the fingerprint reader - work well. Highly recommended.

this case is very sturdy and protective. i previously bought a plum gator phone, that was good under water and [being clumsy] i dropped it numerous times. thats why i bought it. how ever the plum gator phone graphics were so poor compared to this motto g phone. so when i finally dropped the plum off my car roof [i left it there by mistake...so clumsy me] and by the time i circled back and got it off the street..it's face was shattered by cars and trucks running over it. BUT it still worked perfectly; except for the utterly shattered face. replacement of screen cost more than the phone, so i went back to using my old broken faced motto phone AND noticed how waaaay better the graphics and key stroke response was. i ordered another motto and while ordering it i saw that i can get this protective cover making it as strongly protected as the plum gator...only thing you cannot immerse this motto even with cover in water. i dont mind. the vastly better response and pics and videos is worth the trade off

I like the design and never have to worry about dropping my phone cause this will protect it.
