1920s 100% Wool Felt Homburg Gangster Fedora Manhattan Derby Hat Unisex 55-60CM

The best I can describe the felt is it's as soft as a cotton sock but not so floppy. This became my instant beater hat because it feels well used and broken in even though brand new. It's lighter weight than my other wool fedoras ,though the same thickness , so another reason why it became an instant hit . Add in the comfortable inner band and it's a real winner for my head .If you notice the stitch in the photo kinda stands out because it pinches the band but again, this is a beater hat for me so no biggie. The other photo shows how easy it was to pop a couple of feathers in the band because though it's stitched in a few places but not sewn totally or glued, just a few stitches and also the slight out of shape in the back it was from the box though it is shaping itself back more as I wear it longer . 10 seconds and I can change out my feather(s) choice is a real hoot . Once I get past my feather fetish I'll go back to plain and it'll look just as good . The photo with the feather is the true color of the black, the other photo was in extra bright light to highlight the stitch is why it looks more gray .Though a smidge snug from the box it has stretched enough already to where I won't call it too small. The band will not stretch as much as the felt will so I'd suggest order a size up if you're borderline. I normally wear a 7 3/8 and the large is supposed to be up to 7 1/2 but it's more a 7 1/4 from the box .I really like the feel of this hat, the quality seems to be well done as all the stitching is accurate and there were no loose strings hanging anywhere.It's not what I'd call a wide band fedora nor a short brim, a true tweener that could be just as stylish whether dressed up or dressed down .For the price I feel like I got a very very good value and deal .

Really liked the hat, good fit! It comes with two feathers. Has a nice shape, "Not to" cowboy looking.Color is just right for navy blue. Many compliments all ready, and where did i purchase.

This is called a Hornburg, that is the style not the name, I put one of the included hat sizers in the front under the lining and it fit like it was custom made, if you receive the feathers they are in a little black packet, you will throw them away if your not careful. BTW IF YOU WEAR COWBOY BOOTS, and they are just a little too large, this is what I did...I only needed one sizer for my hat, SO I CUT THE OTHER ONE IN HALF, and placed in my boots right wear the bottom meets the back, I cant believe it, but it works, those boots fit like a glove now. Stays in place, so when you curve it down in there, get it right the first time.

The hat is great. Came with sizing fill pecies and yes there is a string you can adjust to tighten hat. The hat fits fine. There are two feathers to choose from. The color green is great and it is 100% wool. Now there was no cardboard to help hold shape. Only a plastic bag and outer Amazon bag.. the hat was not in best shape. But a little spray starch and it shaped up real nice. All worked out.

Title description says 100% wool but when you read the ACTUAL description it is all polyester and other man made similar products. ALWAYS read the full descriptions!!!! Arrived in a bag, crushed. I followed the directions to reshape and it had little effect. Thank goodness for free returns. If you want a decent looking hat don't buy this one. Moreover, don't buy from a company that misrepresents their product with incorrect titles. I wanted wool and foolishly did not read the full description. My mistake. I have bought other inexpensive wool hats and have always been satisfied.

I like that it resembles an Indiana Jones and Freddy Krueger hat. the hat is a perfect fit and is comfortable to wear.

Only problem is how it was shipped. It has taken a while for the brim of the hat to get its shape at least back to passable to wear out. It was shipped in a bag, in a box. It still even with that small problem, it still is worth the money

This hat was not quite what I was expecting. I thought for the price it would have been better quality. Even though it was in a box it's brim was all out of shape. Not really happy. But I guess the description is right...In it's favour it is real wool felt.
